I started watching this show recently so I already knew about JJYs scandal & watched it hating him. I got more curious about him & realized that the chat was based on 2015-2016 before his 1st scandal (I oddly thought it was 2019) and after his comeback to the show I saw a change in his behavior (as many noticed as well) & how he focused more on appearing on programs & focusing more on his music & band. I am NOT undermining his wrongdoings at all and he is definitely paying the price for his past right now but I would be lying if I said I didnt think he changed as 2017 was an extremely tough time for him as He lost 2 of his brothers (Kim Juhyuk & SHINee Jonghyun). This was also probably hard on him & a life changing moment. Another reason I think he changed after 2016 is because JJY was the only one in the chat who immediately admitted his wrongdoings and apologized right away regarding the molka while everyone at first denied it until they had no choice to admit to it. Just my opinion ( dont wanna get attacked for it).

I have observed the same thing. He’s a lot different when he came back after the 2016 scandal, and, unless I’m missing something, even when it resurfaced, no event after that year was brought up. He may have regretted it truly. The thing is, just because he regretted it, doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be punished, esp when the issue broke out again, it was revealed there are much worse crimes committed. As a previous fan, I do hope the change was real and he’s still reflecting until now. But I honestly don’t wish to see him as a celebrity again. In the future, maybe 20 years? Ih he demonstrates real change, he can be featured on how he turned his life around. Even then that would be a stretch, and not sure how forgiving SK is to such crimes.

S4 writing went from average (under PD Bang) to really bad (current PD). The show has become so boring. This is why I welcome the news of Running Man now returning to its 2017 time slot. It means that now 1N2D have competitors, the writers are now compelled to better their jobs so as to maintain their ratings.

Must face the consequences of his actions. But in every episode, i noticed that among the member, he will be the first one who show respect to elder and always make a guest feel comfortable. In early episodes, around 10 earliest episodes, Defconn really unlikeable. He chosen as the "big guy" in the team, and feel like he should become the "power" of the team, like Kang Hodong (season 1). He look tense, aggressive, and ambitious all the time for that persona, annoying to watch. But after he become comfortable, he just being himself and boom, his real personality actually lovely and fun.

I love both S3 and S4, but I cannot deny the chemistry between the S3 members. No wonder, Jongmin's walls were high during the first months of S4, he had experienced a change of casts so many times already, but I love that he's comfortable now too.
