I think what makes Son Seungyeon's voice so identifiable is the sheer output and large resonance she's able to carry so high within her mixed voice. Very few people in general have the ability to support so high in the soprano tessitura. When you're correctly trained in the mixed register, you're able to blossom where most sopranos today could never. She's one of the best young vocalists out today, not in K-Pop, but in general.

The best voice around these days. Seungyeon said afterwards that she neary fainted during this performance because she put the all energy she had into this song. Outstanding talent.
