Miles marched in like Texas Southern, Did a recent Texas Southern field pattern they performed at Grambling in 2023, And gave tribute to Yolanda Adams, a TSU Alumna. What more did we need?
@jCo13 ай бұрын
Let's be honest, some bands have that one song that is kind of their thing, and we all know Miles is known for that entrance. We can't say the same for TxSU. For example, BCU plays Let's Go, JSU plays Get Ready, MBC played Spotlight Groove, FAMU plays Good Times and so on..... So if that was a TxSU thing, if, and I mean IF that was their thing, then they gave it up a long time ago. You can't lay claim to something that you no longer do, again, if TxSU actually did it. Nobody said anything about this in 2023, 2022, 2021, and the previous years before that. It's only because one person made a comment online and now all of a sudden some people want to "hop on the bandwagon" of agreeing, whether they know it to be true or not. 🤦🏾♂️😂

I just watch the 1984 TxSU neck entrance. It’s definitely very similar. However, it’s not the same exact entrance and it has a different twist. Also, does TxSU still use the entrance? Every time I see them they walk on the field from the sidelines.

They did steal it from TSU lol but Miles has been doing that intro for years!😂TSU use to do this intro back in the 80s. Miles announcer was talking to the crowd like an angry praise and worship leader!😂 Snipes must be religious heavy because ever since he took over Miles program, they’ve been doing ALOT of gospel influence shows.

When you said "They're doing a good job so far. I don't see anybody messin' up'".... they had already messed up. LOL The people on the left end had marched out too far. From there it just got worse because the other band members were basing their position on the people who were wrong instead of where they were supposed to be in that formation. They danced their way back into formation but then one squad marched forward when they should have pinwheeled. Whooo!!! I guess it's best to get that big goof up out of the way and focus on the rest of the season. Really nice formations and transitions otherwise. And I don't know WHAT was happening at the end. Only one person should be on the mic. Either sing or talk, don't do both. LOL

When you are used to excellence ... Anyways this is par for the course. I miss when all i knew about them was the thong song and dirty diana on my ipod in the 2000s... The one advantage they do have is selecting songs the crowd loves to sing a long to... But theres no energy in their marching, lines arent even close to straight, and they dont sound good enough to wash all the bad away... Other bands are giving their all on the field and you out here shamming smh
