The part where they talk about Milkyway using Kindred ult to prevent Rend Smite combo. IIRC, Xmithie actually did that for 5th dragon steal back in 2016 MSI against RNG (but maybe not against Rend Smite), but it was probably too ancient for Monte to recall. I remember this well because it was a really hard lesson for RNG and LPL as a whole since they literally screwed up with almost 20k gold lead against CLG. It was just unreal.

idk man Lider is a known quantity at this point. Very stong ceiling but limited champ pool and clear flaws. You get a control mage vs control mage meta (and lets face it, we always do) and Lider is below average at best. I might be the only KC fan to watch this but man does it hurt to hear all that when you know 95% of what they are saying is true. A pretty significant part of the fanbase wasn't for the benching of Yamato (at least from what I saw) and looking back it wasn't a good move and was done mainly to scapegoat someone for the losses. The team overall is dysfunctional, with Upset playing completely away from the teamfights (and i can't blame him given the shitshow that each game is), Saken being overall transparent, Targa straight up running it down and Bo doing sometimes really bad calls/engages (which is not really his fault cause he is not supposed to do calls). Cabo in all that might be to me the less blamable, toplane is pretty much unimpactful anyway in a lot of these games even though he had a couple of horrible games. To me KC missed the opportunity to have a top 2 support of the league and I don't think there are a lot of midlaners available currently with what it takes to win in LEC and support Bo in a way. For teh Nisqy point, Nisqy said he wouldn't join KC except if the roster was really good cause he doesn't really want to mix professional life and friendship which is undertstandable, and with the benefit of hindsight, it would have been a bad decision to join KC I think. Overall I'm juste disappointed and as you said, the management should really question their way of doing things, it is starting to be obvious that they are at least part of the problem, Kameto being the founder however i don't see him stepping down from his position at least for now. Thanks for the reality check, a lot of people are on pure copium in the community and they should definitely watch this with an unbiased eye and a bit of humour to tank the jokes on the team (even though we are already making a joke out of ourselves by playing as we play).

He had one good move against WBG in Bo1 in the last teamfight with Yone that "won the game." But BB Yone and how beyond iron it is was the only reason G2 didn't win that game in 20 minutes anyway. Dhokla beat him 1 v 2. Bin blasted him to the moon and beyond so hard in every single game in every counter match up. Especially game 3 where BB picked Gnar and started the lane with a free kill and cloth armor in a matchup where he counterpicked. Even there Bin blasted him and Yike together. That series without any exaggeration will go down League History as the biggest Top gap ever in professional scene. Not to mention inactive Wunder gapping him by blind picking Renekton 3 times in a row playing weakside or Oscarinin destroying him with Ksante against Gwen. BB has so much ego that he constantly picks carries even though he is terrible at every single one of them. And his last place pal Dylan refuses to put him down.

Your logic is like saying FLETA was the best DPS in all of Apex because he had to hard carry Flash Lux's dead corpse every game and DPS on better teams didn't have to carry like that because they had better team mates around them. Put PROFIT on Flash Lux. Put CARPE on Flash Lux. You'd see them hard carry Flash Lux just the same. Fleta wasn't the best in Apex and he certainly wasn't come 2018 OWL. You'd know. Gen.g look the same with Peyz there as they did with Ruler there. Is Viper that much better than Ruler? Thats the way/style Geng instructs their ADC to play. If Viper was on Geng he wouldn't be hard carrying like he does on HLE. Notice how much more aggressive Ruler is in LPL compared to when he was in Geng? Acting like its egregious that Peyz is there over Viper is just silly. Viper is an overall better ADC. But based purely on 2024 Spring? I think Peyz has a very credible argument for #1.

@@SwayNoir I would say that based on historical trends, korean coaches and players tend to vote 1st team all pro for the 1st team in regular season. Not sure if that is the vindication you seek. Like, last summer KT was all pro despite very good arguments (which I'd agree with) being possible for Chovy or Viper, among others. But glad to see you allow for respectful disagreement.

I think until proven otherwise, g2 is solidly 7th-8th. As boring as it is, top 3 lpl and lck are in a tier of their own and the drop-off from 3rd-4th is pretty substantial. I'd say 7th assuming they could shut down milkyway in a bo5, but maybe 8th if not. Surely they beat NIP/KT/DK they're too fraudulent.

They won games this split that they didn't deserve to win. They didn't win those games, the other teams lost them. MDK completely ran it into them (and KC almost managed to throw that game), and GX is just a big joke that only got into playoffs because KC managed to be more shit than them

The difference is how they lost the games. In winter they hat actual leads in the early game and winning positions that they threw. In spring a lot of games there looked without a Plan and being behind AT Minute 1

They lost so much games in the first split while having leads. They were pretty good early with Bo, this split was just bad. Also they had momentum since they won consecutively, they could've easily had a run if they had better games. You have to factor in momentum, T1 did it last year in the summer split and they won worlds. T1 was on the verge of elimination btw, they almost didn't qualify for playoffs.
