In this video, we're showing off our Jeep Gladiator build now that we have done some significant work to it including lifting it, adding beefier steering components, and upgraded the tires and wheels. Our Gladiator has a 2.5" lift and 37" tires for off-roading. We took the Gladiator on the Backway to Crown King trail.
Crown King is north of Phoenix, AZ and has a mix of moderate to difficult trail features. Most of the hard obstacles have bypasses which means this trail can be classified as easy to moderate in difficulty. The road is graded from the bottom up, but the top part of this trail changes after every winter season and even after each rain storm. Erosion exposes more rocks and ruts. Aggressive stock vehicles with good articulation can get up this trail with no problem, but you might have to skip one or two “fun hills” and take the easy route instead. This is a very popular trail on the weekends. Drive carefully and watch for ATVs and dirt bikes. Tons of history on this trail, join us as we explore!
We upgraded some main components to make the biggest difference in making our Jeep Gladiator more capable. Our good friends at @RebelOffRoadTV helped work on the Jeep. We installed an @iconvehicledynamicstv suspension kit along with Steer Smarts steering components. For tires, we had to go with @bfgoodrichtires 37" KM3 Mud Terrain tires wrapped around @FuelOffroad wheels.
Let's hit the trail and test out how the Gladiator will do off-road now that we worked on it!
