kc lightstream speed

here is a quick video to show you how quick kc lightstream is. you will need to turn your volume up because the audio is quite. and my brother was streaming video while i was recording so the results are normally faster around Mbps

On average i get 1.3MB on a good day, the reason is apparently all my equipment is at at fault according to KC, fed up of hearing all the excuses from them. For all the years ive had a constant problem with an extremely poor ISP and heard every excuse in the book i cant wait to jump ship to MS3 Communications, even if it costs me more money i wont be giving anymore money to KC, they have had the monopoly in Hull for too long.

i was getting 1.3MB from Karoo, they tell me its my bad equipment in the house, yet was getting 5+MB when i complained to the tech guys .24 hours later down to flutuations of between 0.8MB and 1.3MB at best,I have no faith with KC at all. How are you able to get speeds like that in Hull? I didnt think the fibre optics were finished yet

Someone answer me please?!?! I have asked customer support in a live chat blah blah blah... and I want to know why there is now a £100 connection fee? Customer support couldn't give me an answer :( They just kept saying this applies to everyone :/ and wouldn't tell me why it's no longer free. If someone can answer me PLEASE do so ASAP

Virgin and all other ISP should be allowed, thanks to KC owning the lines in Hull, they can put the prices as high as they like and apparently to offcom, KC said that other ISPs are available to be used within Hull for a hefty line rental price which offcom isnt aware of which is very unfair, KC should go under as it is a small time business compared to Virgin and BT

Well said! Hull deserve more options other than KC.. If Virgin media and BT came to Hull, then maybe KC would lower the costs and start giving faster broadband! Its a good things MS3 are coming too

the reason for there is now a fee is because it was to prompt people to get it before the fee applied boosting business but the reason for the fee is to pay for the cable up to your house the fiber optic hub and the router
