A factor of burnout that's crucial to acknowledge in times like these, is that: burnout is what happens when the rewarding aspects of our work slowly begin to be outweighed by the exhaustion it can leave us with, i.e our work begins to take more energy *out* of us than it puts *into* us, ya'know? being told that can at first sound a bit obvious, but acknowledging that is so crucial because it's a reminder that burnout is just a law of nature, and not because of who you are personally; it's not the result of some kind of flaw you have, it's not the result of anything wrong with you, anyone would feel this level of stress I really appreciate that you're so honest and open about your thoughts and how you feel, not only in this video but also other videos that I've seen by you, it's an element of your content that adds so much value to it, It makes you refreshing to listen to, and that it really helps viewers see themselves in you, your honesty really helps to establish a non-judgemental space for your audience Your videos have helped me in my own career/academic pursuits (particularly the video you made about GCSE's) with not only practical advice but also by the example you set, I've seen myself in you, because of that non-judgemental space you've provided, and if anyone on this earth deserves that same non-judgemental space also provided back to them: it's you.

I can empathise with feeling overwhelmed at times with the workload. Multi-tasking and watching lectures on double speed have helped me get through the first half of this term!!

It sounds like York has a better law school than King's. Or maybe because it's a PG course. They get graduates from many different places who have acquired different learning styles. So over the years the lecturers have learned that to make their own jobs easier, the teaching is just a one-way system by flooding the students with information.

This is what I can relate to, girl. I'm currently a law student and have to work to pay tuition fee. On top that, I had that brilliant idea to study Korean at the same time. Not the best choice, but we got to do what got to do. Just hang in there, girl!
