Hero is in such good form right now - he doesn't seem to have any weak matchups. Hero's ZvT was a bit shakey last year but he's rectified it. I seriously hope Hero wins ASL 17.

I also would wait for Tastosis cast, but ended up giving StarcastTV a shot Nyoken and Gypsy93 and now I much prefer them over Tastosis.

Same. I actually think Gypsy + Nyoken offer a lot of really good insight. Voddie was also a great commentator on Starcast but he's not active anymore.

Yo my man Saiyan! Just letting you know it doesn't actually take two extra hits for a drone to kill a probe. It's exactly as many hits, whoever gets the first shot off will kill the other one first. You have to send two drones over because during the jump the probe will almost always get that first shot. Going to watch the games now, I'm stoked! 😄

You can test it in single player. If you get the first hit it doesn't necessarily mean you will win. I know it sounds weird but I have played around with it and both sides will sometimes win even without the first hit. You are right though that it doesn't actually take 2 extra hits for a drone to kill a probe, but 2 extra hits beforehand will guarantee the win.

I'll go play around with it! That must be because of the regeneration speed of the probe's shield or the drones health and the small chance to miss a shot.

I would say action is best's krytponite, though as other youtubers pointed out it's probably actually the Bo4 LOL. In all seriousness, there needs to be a cannon upgrade that doubles HP, though may need gateway as per-requisite to prevent cannon rushing shinnanigans.

Cannons are good enough haha, any radical change like that would destroy game balance.

Cannons don't need to change as they already have the pro of being able to attack both ground and air. If there ever is a patch I think they should improve the underused units - scouts, queens and ghosts.

Why are there hardly any anti-spoiler sections on KZbin videos nowadays? It's simple: you don't see stuff on KZbin if that stuff is discouraged by KZbin's algorithm. And it makes sense for the algorithm to discourage spoiler fillers, since from the algorithm's perspective, all it sees is viewers who stop watching a video before it's over, which implies that the video is boring or otherwise deficient. In addition, fewer people watch long videos in the first place, so videos with padded lengths are further penalized by the algorithm. Ultimately, the only thing that would actually work at scale against spoilers would be for KZbin itself to implement a proper robust anti-spoiler feature, which is not going to happen.

Yeah, I agree that KZbin should support it with an internal feature. But my commitment is that I will leave the video running in the background all the way to the end. Can't do it on Android I guess, but on PC it's no problem to move on to a new video while the anti-spoiler is running in a different tab.

Hydra bust is disgustingly broken. If it works, zerg wins. If it fails, they just transition to an advantageous macro game. For a balanced brood war, you're supposed to lose after a failed all in. I've never once seen zerg lose because the hydra bust didn't go off. It seems just forcing cannons is enough to get advantage. Best even got the +1 done, didn't lose a single probe, and still was hugely at a deficit in midgame. Lol. Does anyone actually enjoy watching such a game?

2Rax Academy Rush is disgustingly broken. If it works, Terran wins. If it fails, they just transition to an advantageous macro game. It seems just forcing Sunkens is enough to get advantage. Zerg even got the sunkens in time, didn't lose a single Drone, and still was hugely at a deficit in midgame. Lol. @@SaiyanKCM No need for whataboutism. That has nothing to do with my claim: Hydra bust is broken in brood war. You go all in, you either win or transition at worst undeterred, but usually at an advantage in mid game. I've not once seen a failed hydra bust lead to a loss. I've seen many - perhaps even most - that lead to a win on the spot, an advantageous midgame, or an even midgame.

I disagree. I've seen plenty of KCM, ASL, and other pro games where the hydra bust is defended by protoss only for protoss to throw down 8-10 gates, mass out 100-150 supply of zealot/goon/templar+obs then head across the map to kill zerg.
