What is more important to you , That early ET blowers get from 60ft to 330ish? Or that high end MPH with a decent front half? I've never had anything but turbos and if I wasn't so scared about the learning curve and breaking parts more often I'd have already switched to see .. that's why I'm so interested in this comparison.. I can't think of a better guy to do this and have his testing carry weight... I guarantee a lot of racers are watching

The linear torque and power curve of the blower is much easier to tune track wise it's alot easier in my experience yeah it's a leader the first 330 reason you will never find a true blower guy without some sort of mirror because we all know once the turbos light off and momentum gains traction traction turns on the lockup and the fancy exaust fans start freight training like no other car out there. I like them both tbt if im no prep or back side racing I do prefer on a big block build remember on a big block true bbc too 540 or bigger im going supercharger crankshaft mount even though I have had a cog setup on a syn super charger that worked very well also easier on parts .

You should give some serious thought into using wastegates on the cold side as part of the boost management program. Steve Morris's car is a good example. You essentially keep the turbo spooled while using the wastegates to bleed off excess boost. That would definitely help your short track numbers, 60' numbers, 330 etc.

This. Run them like mark Mickey and have no hot side gates at all so turbos spool extremely fast and use e-gates to control the cold side/overall boost.

Really ? Beater bomb doesn't seem to have an issue with his comp turbos and can't recall an issue ever stopping him from running them either .. so what could there be not to like? Pro chargers are definitely known to fail if you overspin them at all or it's a petal fest hope ya got a spare head unit... There is a long list of very fast drivers with every other combo he's gapped for years with comp turbos

Procharger is like nitrous. Almost instant power. Tons of torque down low. And really consistent on the other hand the turbos take a little more to spool but that's why they move so good on the top of the track. All depends on what and where you need the power.

I think the only way you can go back to turbo is if you upgraded the turbos and the engine and the converter and maybe the transmission and even the rear gears and then you would have to run front side real good prep or run quarter mile but you could run a different kind of blower a type c if you know what I mean and really feel that violent man power adder!

There is a few people I follow closely in the Turbo and SuperCharger world's. Mike Moran of Moran Racing Engine's is killing it in both of them. Mike's car is twin Turbo'ed but a damn good friend of mine Jon Morelli and his brother? Procharged Mustangs that fly. Mike Moran does them. Now, If you want hard data? Ken Duttweiler and Gale Banks, Those guys have forgotten more on Turbo's then anyone I know of. Any of the people I mentioned is a wealth of knowledge no matter is its for Front side prepped to back side none prepped to the streets. As Gale said to me and Mike Moran too, " Turbo's are more complicated then one can think, Its not just one thing on Turbos but multiple things."

Its the opposite. Prochargers are way easier for power management with timing that using Dome pressure etc for turbos.

all you have to buy is one big turbo. a 200 shot and have your turbo's to spool/compound the bbbbig turbo ,& you should be making some serious steam , lol. personally,the procharger build's power faster so happy new year

I would say Prochager s the best way to go. Cause Turbo's u have to built boost and that takes a long time depending on what setup u have. I raced a guy who was having difficulty building boost. And I am like getting really really pissed off. Cause I am on the transbrake. And my engine is not liking that. So I let off and the guy who was building boost was like cheering on and yelling that he won cause I let off the throttle. The track owner appears and said nope u lost cause u couldn't get your boost built up in 3 seconds and you lost the race. Ajd I was like oh hell yeah gimme the prize money and I am outta here. Never went back there again. I have raced a few 405ers in there actually street legal vehicle's drag racing. Amd I won the Cash Day's shootout. Azn was pissed off. Cause he was all over the road and he crossed like 10 times. Farmtruck was pissed off cause he made bets with friend's of mine. And we boxed him in until he paid us.

I beg to differ. Those turbos are sized pretty spot on for his setup. The back pressure is a tad high being almost a 1:1 ratio. He COULD step up to a larger A/R on the turbine side. But doing so would only push the power peak to the right, increase spool time/rpm as well as make a smaller useable power area. Making numbers on a dyno doesn't win races. And there's a TON more to a correct sized setup than where you make peak power. Especially with a turbo setup trying to front half as best as possible.

@@highpsiguy4085 hes well into boost way before where he launches the car. He could go up some good bit of size still not notice he changed them down low. Also you can see just from his tq curve there moving past the efficiency zone of them in the upper rpm.
