Hats off guys, production quality is amazing. The drone shots are awesome and the editing is top notch with the cutting, the imagery plays nice with the narrative, the voiceover is A+... This could easily be a Netflix docu-reality kind of travel series (maybe pitch them the idea? 😀). Mallorca and bigger-coastal towns in Spain are not super cheap (although the 23-26€ salmon is not the norm either). If you'd like cheaper, but tasty food that will fill your bellies, we like these tapas: patatas bravas (potatoes with aioli which is a bit maionnaise-like sauce made from olive oil and sometimes with either a red sauce or arabian spices), pimiento de padrón (fried green pepper with big salt pieces. Not hot but a bit bittery), albondigas (sometimes albondigas de carne - meatballs in tomato sauce), croquetas de jamón (mashed potato sticks with ham), morcilla (blood sausage which might sound creepy but it's a bit similar in taste to the french pate. It isn't that spicy in Spain and a bit on the sweeter side compared to the slavic region where they also have this food). Awesome drink is tinto de verano (loosely translated: red wine of the summer), based on red wine, soda and lemon - refreshing, a bit sour, tasty and only like 4-5% alcohol so won't wreck you 😀

Hi there krys, i am watching again your beautiful blog, i was amazed with the abandoned island and how those rocks formed because of huge waves, It looks creepy and seems like somebody lived there for a while, but maybe they left it for some reason, kind of scary and haunted, doesent look safe at night,.. And those crazy huge waves are too risky to dive, good thing you've got those shoes very useful for sharp objects and corals,.. Kell was improving her dive, she needs a little bit of practice and she'll be a good diver soon,.. It's another breath taking adventure, i really enjoyed watching it, what i like most of your videos were places like never been featured by other bloggers, like those creepy islands you've been through, though looks kind of scary and risky but interesting, places we have never seen before, keep it up guys, i really love to see more on your future blog, and what i really love about you guys was you literally read our comments, i could actually felt the way how you appreciate them the way we really appreciated you, co'z everything around is beautiful, the ambiance the gorgeous blogger, your outstanding voice like a music to our ear, your good looking husband😎, and the guest crew (James Bond?😜), specially your brand new sufisticated boat.

You have been very lucky that the Coast Guard or the Civil Guard did not pass because that island is not abandoned but restricted marine and bird reserve and you cannot anchor outside the buoys or in them without permission, or climb on it. It is called El Toro reserve. This type of tourist behavior is totally unacceptable. Maybe next time you will be less lucky and have to sell the boat to pay the fine.
@KristinasTravels Жыл бұрын
John here thanks for your message, we were aware of the marina reserve and no anchoring area, as mentioned in the video which is why the boat remained underway and we tendered from far from ashore. Nothing on the charts nor In all of our research online did we find anything to indicated that the island itself is off limits or part of a nature reserve or national park (unlike Cabrera for example). We take marine conservation seriously and make sure we comply with all published requirements for national parks and marine reserves. If the island was off limits there’s certainly nothing easily available to indicate as such. There are also numerous diving companies that dive around the island by boat also. Appreciate your concern though.
@vitriolo6531 Жыл бұрын
@@KristinasTravels The diving companies only anchor in the boots provided by the reserve authorities, restricted numder of divers, with prior permission and payment. Your videos only encourage people to visit the NOT ABANDONED island and not to respect the reservation (which does appear in my letters).
