I really underestimated Kdenlive just because it was open source even though being full time linux user. BUT I regretted heavily and now I'm fully into Kdenlive.

Since you mention setting the project frame rate to match that of your video, do you have any tips for how I can best edit together some footage of a concert where all three cameras were set to a different frame rate..?! Thanks for another great tutorial.

Good question. Just set the project size and frame rate to whatever you prefer the final output to be.. For example, I always export 1920x1080 video at 60fps for KZbin uploads, since most of my footage is record in that, but sometimes I'll have something 24fps or 720p and Kdenlive will convert them to 1920x1080 60fps (or whatever the project settings are).

On a side note there is Media Player Classic (MPC-HC ) Black edition (MPC-BE) it has a preview window just like here in youtube videos e.g. hovering over the progress timeline.

Once I get me work done using proxy clips, how do I render using the original clips. Rendering with proxy clips reduces the quality. Kindly suggest, if possible make a tutorial about it

Speed effect is missing in Kdenlive 19.12.3 for Linux. In Motion there is only Freeze. Does anyone know solution? Thanks

Right click on the clip and you can change the speed there.. They took the speed from the effects but it still works the same

How would you go about creating the intro and outro? The outro could be done in Gimp I'm sure, but the intro..? Natron..?

Good question. My end screen is just an image. I created it in Inkscape, but Gimp would work well too. I created my intro in Natron, and I have a video tutorial showing how to do it. Other good choices for animating intros are Opentoonz and Blender. Inkscape is my tool of choice for creating artwork for animations.

It was made using Natron, a free and open source program similar to After Effects.
