Hi Nate - great playlist on Kdenlive! You're obviously working too hard though because your social media links are spelt wrong - you've left out the 'n' :) Keep up the great work - these videos are a wealth of great information! Cheers, Dave.

Thanks man. I was looking at for Shotcut alternatives that support speedramping. Your video was very useful.

How you make this intro transitions? Are there made with Kdenlive?
@Photolearningism3 жыл бұрын
Hi eayavas! Thank you for watching! I ha contracted some help for updating my intro and I’m actually not sure which tool these transitions came from. However, based on your question, I started looking into if they could be created in #kdenlive and I believe I found a way! Keep an eye out for new videos on this concept - coming soon!

Any way of getting 18fps. Need it for converting old 18fps film movies.

I had the same issue and reported to them. They fixed it in the daily update but I haven't got to test .2 release. But in any case its in the melt.exe file you need to repoint to a newer release.

Hi community. Does fps play a role here too? I still film 50fps for my 25fps footage if i see a need for slowmo or speed ramping. Thx so far Steve
@Photolearningism Жыл бұрын
Hi Steve! Thank you for the question! From my experience, it does play a role but also works hand-in-hand with the quality of the footage (SD vs HD vs 4k). Higher resolution footage tends to look cleaner (vs lower quality footage) when slowed down. Also, the motion after slowing down is generally smooth up to 50% or 1/2 as there is at least a 1:1 relationship between generated frames (those inserted to achieve the slow motion) and "original frames". I've heard the threshold for acceptable quality and smooth motion is 40% speed when using HD or better. Kdenlive supports 50 fps, so this should work. Hope that helps!

@@Photolearningism Thanks for the quick response. Ill give it a try. I do a whole lot of wildlife filming in africas bush. Used to work with vsdc but rendering with vsdc is more of a headache.

What creative ways have you tried to use #speedramping?

I do have Windows on my Desktop Computer. Since windows 7, Windows has gone so far downhill, it is one of the slowest OS I have ever seen
