Here are some KDKA Pittsburgh jingles, over about a 50 year span from the 1950s, to the 1990s. Most of them feature that famous 6 note KDKA Pittsburgh musical signature. Some KDKA jock jingles are included as well.

As a kid I grew up with KDKA. I remember Jack Bogut, John Cigna, Trish Beatty. They used to have a music format along with the news and I know now it's all news. Thank you so much for posting this great memories and God bless my friend.

2:41 this shows ONE HELL of a local line up! John Cigna, Art (Your Pal) Pallan, Perry Marshall, Fred Honsberger, Lanny Frattare (Pirates games), Roy Fox, Jim Rooker (Pirates games), Doug Hoerth (whose show I called often across every station in Pgh he was on over his career here - Miss him dearly😢) and Trish Beatty. WOW a station with Liberals like Marshall, Conservatives like Honsberger and those whose views were ALL OVER THE MAP like Hoerth! And we got it for FREE. Hell, I'd pay a subscription to get this much diversity of content on talk radio today. PS: I always thought the Perry Marshall and Trish Beatty had the most perfect radio voices! A credit to ANY station! 👍😊👍

Now "Entercom" is called "Audacy" - I still call it CBS Radio because I can't keep up with all of the damned name changes. Funny thing, KDKA has been long associated with CBS (especially thanks to KDKA TV..) but KDKA radio originally was an NBC affiliate. Westinghouse was a founding partner with RCA (and ARCH RIVAL General Electric!) to form NBC.
