This is BRILLIANT.. soooo awesome.. thank you. WORK AROUND for those who don't have claude. Step 1: Many LLMs can create the code for the pages when you ask it to save as an SVG Vector, as Katharyne shows. Step 2: then you just copy the code, put it into a TEXT document.. NOT WORD.. a TEXT EDITOR.. and save as an SVG.. Step3: you can then just input that into Tangent Templates and Ungroup it and follow along with the rest of what she shows..

This would have come in handy a couple of months ago when I made my Quest Log: A Journal for RPG Adventures book. I used Tangent to make the whole thing and used OpenDyslexic as my font to make it easier for people with dyslexia to read.

I've dabbled with Claude, but had no idea it could do this. Thank you for sharing! And for showing such detail on how to edit in TT. Very helpful!

Love, Love, Love this, thank you Katharyne! I have never used Claude yet so can you tell me what other types of templates it could create besides planners or trackers? And an off-subject question for you... which tool/platform would you suggest to be the best to create flat-lay mockup images for a coloring page, tracker page, etc?
@katharynetreasure8 күн бұрын
Hi Cynthia! You can try Claude for free. You can make a template for literally any kind of book, planner or printable you can think of - anything that has lines and boxes. It won’t do graphic heavy things like coloring books - you need Midjourney for that. But workbooks, coaching books, how-to books, educational worksheets etc should be a breeze with Claude and TT. MJ is best for mockups - check out my last video on retexturing - it’s pretty amazing. If you haven’t used MJ yet, you may not have access to retexturing yet (they’re rolling it out to users - so far it’s only for people who have been using it a while or who have signed up on the annual plan) but you can make mockup backgrounds in MJ without retexturing and then make a mockup of your book in TT and collage them together. Feel free to msg me or ask in the group if you need more info :)

is it the free claude ai you are using or is it the paid version? Tried on the free version but it cannot actually create or output SVG vector files or any other image files directly.

Thank you for watching! I'm using the paid version, but multiple people have confirmed this works with the free version too. If you'd like to send me an email at support@tangent.rocks with some screenshots of what's happening when you try it, we can try to help you out :)

You are taking the svg file and opening it somewhere else? Or Claude shows you the form after it’s created?
@katharynetreasure7 күн бұрын
Claude will preview the svg for you, I’m then downloading it and importing it into Tangent Templates to edit it :) Https://templates.tangent.rocks
