Those who haven't watched My Mister are really missing out on something which is once in a lifetime. Everything was perfect with this drama. Yes, it's dreary, depressing and very heavy. However, it also leaves you feeling motivated and understanding of others and makes you have more faith in humanity. It's one of the highest rated kdramas on Imdb and the user reviews there will show how much people loved it .

As an international watcher, I am shock this drama series made the list because not knowing who D.O. was before I watched this drama series, I went into the series without any preconceived notions about D.O. I have to say D.O. shined in this role and his chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun was natural and seamless.

100 DAYS MY PRINCE is actually such a great drama. I NEVER felt bored while watching that. I feel so sad that 100DMP is in this list 😭😭😭 As a person who doesn't like historical dramas, I still loved this one. I also tried to watch more historical dramas because of 100DMY but the other dramas felt like they were missing something. People really need to appreciate all of these drama cuz all of them are hidden gems. THE FIERY PRIEST, MY MISTER and TAXI DRIVER all of them are sooo good

May be the reason is the repeating plot just in historical form. I found so many similarities between shopping king louis and 100 days prince. Also, maybe audience fed up with the memory loss, arrogant male lead at that time. Yk international audience usually seek for something new. I am actually shocked by taxi driver, it was such a great drama, didn't know it was not popular international. I totally loved it and eagerly waitijg for season 2.

I think My Mister is a late bloomer internationally. It is still gaining more international audiences when people are recommending it. Unfortunately it is not available on Netflix everywhere e.g. in Scandinavia and Finland where I live.

I am an International audience and I have watched all the dramas she have mentioned. Recently I re watched Fiery Priest and 100 days My Prince In the Fiery Priest : All the characters are hilarious, that you will even forget that there are even actions characters. "OoHO ! " and "I am not comfortable" dialogue will makes you laugh. After seeing D.O's performance in Along with the Gods movies his movies are always in my list to watch and still awaiting for the squeals

If I'm not mistaken,100 days my prince is famous in japan. Also it is the highest rating kdrama who aired at 5 pm in 2019 or 2020 in the Philippines that's why it was aired again this year in the new time slot (9-10am). And i think it is also famous in some part of the world. So why it's here in the list? Please enlighten me hahha.

I discovered "My mister" few months ago and it surprised me so much, bc it's so different from the typical Kdrama universe, in many points. Lee Sun-Kyun's performance (the male lead) was breathtakingly PERFECT, expressing all the nuances of his character, even through the tone of his voice, how he breaths... Maybe U should add to your list "Secret Love Affair" with Kim Hee-Ae and Yoo Ah-In.

It's themes and issues are universal. I was totally blown away from this epic. And after watching Signal, I have come to the conclusion Koreans do it better !

In the Philippines 100 days my prince got also the highest rating in afternoon drama. In Japan it was being broadcast in cable channel and become the second korean drama being shown in that cable channel.

I dont think this is entirely correct. Speaking for 100DMP, released only in Korea in 2018. I watched not in netflix because it was not available back then. it was released in Netflix only after it has been released in local tv stations in other countries, had re-runs, sold in dvd format (for example in Japan). So basically, most people, even fans have watched it already (some have seen it more than once) before it was released Netflix. Other streaming sites have released it even before netflix.

One problem for 100DMP was that Drama Fever, which held the rights to it, got shut off right in the middle of it's airing, so a bunch of us had to scramble to finish it on illegal sites. It did finally become available on Netflix, but the momentum for international audiences was halted.

It is a very good show, deserves say more recognition, especially to the fact that each of the victims, who demanded justice were based on true stories.

Actions have consequences " , as much as they were trying to do the right thing and punish those criminals the law didn't, taking matters into your own hands could go so wrong, you can make Big enemies, your risking your life as well as for those who you love and care for and sometimes innocent people could get hurt as well and people could lose themselves in the long run and forget why the started it in the first place..........even with that said, justice is something very hard to come by, rich people get away with everything, corrupt judges policemen politicians and just corrupt people in general could turn innocent people guilty and get away with it, sometimes u just want to take matters into your own hands coz no one else will, it's a dilemma...... I loved that it showed both sides, coz that's the real nature of how things would go.......

I didn't believe it when I saw D.O on the thumbnail for 100 days my prince, to be considered underrated. What kind of gave me the push to watch in the first place was, when checking out the deets, Cosmopolitan the magazine came out with an article about it being the latest obsession, and it was published around the time when the show probably became available on Netflix. Regardless, it was a good decision, and still is, a good decision to check out 100DMP. As well as the rest of the line up on this list 😊

I've watched all the mentioned series and I believe that it should be watch internationally. The Fiery Priest will give you a good laugh. My Mister talks about family and friendship. Taxi Driver is like Knight Rider of America a very interesting action-drama series. 100 days my prince is about finding your true love amidst all the hardship.

Fiery Priest is the best kdrama for me. I had watched Kim Nam Gil Live Up To Your Name and I liked his acting.. He is very good at comedy role, then I found Fiery Priest, I finished it in two days. It is very enjoyable. All characters are funny, I never skipped any of the scenes. What I found there are many good comedy dramas but they are not recommended by many KZbin channels or anywhere.. They seems to suggest veryyyyy good looking handsome guys dramas. They don't konkw what they are missing. I can suggest other dramas that are not much popular drama among international audiences Comedy genre: Live Up To Your Name Good Manager Beautiful Gong Shim Horror: The Guest(it's through out horror, no romance, only friendship and family relations) but it have good story, acting and OSTs. Actors :Kim Dong Wook, Kim Jae wook

100Days My Prince was the first Kdrama I watched in 2020, and I just loved it. True, it’s rare the drama is listed in Kdrama discussion , even when they talked about historical drama but it’s really great drama , nothing disappointed me when often those considered more successful didn’t give me such satisfaction all time. I love the acting, cinematography and the supportive act is so great. Since I became a Kdrama addict, even I still have plenty to watch .. another one I loved and rarely listed is Queen for 7 days ,.. and Nodku flower,.. I personally think it’s a miss if you like period drama not to watch them also …

They both are 'difficult' in different ways - ie take concentration, and tug at your heartstrings. My Mister, especially the first few episodes, is hard to watch due to the stress & abuse the lead (IU) undergoes. But it's totally worth it. I understand having to 'steel' yourself to watch them tho! Took me a while to finish Misaeng myself. But I loved it!

In k-dramas, being famous in Korea is more important than being famous internationally. It's because the ratings of the drama will base on the national viewers which is koreans. A kdrama is considered successful if it has high ratings in its own nation or both national and internationally.

"Sweet Home" is top five of the greatest series ever created. There is definitely an international audience who are in love with this series and it's not for everyone. It definitely has something for everyone. Waiting for productions to get going again and a second season. Song Kang is going to be busy. Watched it twice and 1/2 through third time. Hurry. Also, "The Man from Nowhere" is the first K-drama I watched, before I knew there were K-drama. It's amazing.

I'm an international KDrama fan and love My Mister and 100 Days My Prince. IU's performance was brilliant. The first half of My Mister is tough to get through because it is so depressing, but overall it is an excellent drama. 100 Days kept appearing on my Netflix recommended list, so I finally tried it and loved it. I've ignored Taxi Driver because I thought it was a remake of the older U.S. movie which I never liked. I'll have to check it out now.

Some of these titles didnt do well I think due to timing of release on Netflix as international audience tend to gravitate towards the new and latest. But those who watched it, My Mister especially were highly praised by many critics and audience.

I think the reason 100 Days My Prince did poorly internationally was because Drama Fever shutdown abruptly and the show had just started airing. There was no other way watch the show in the US at that time. It’s only recently that it has been available on Netflix and Viki.

My Mister is drama that feel like a walk in a cloudy haze, It's gloomy, melancholic yet beautiful. It's portrait human emotion, selfishness, kindness etc in a very artistic way. People who complaints about the age gap of both leads r immature, u will find plenty of example where a young girl developed a feeling for middle aged guy around you. It's not out of reality, it is a reality of our society. Girls (may be boys too) that has missing father/ Guardians figure in het whole life and grown up with lots of struggle often tend to take liking in more grown man than good looking young man. These types of human often search for warmth that they missed thier life.

Plus it's NOT that kind of romantic love story! She feels a total connection to her 'Ahjussi' but he doesn't act inappropriately. The kind of connection between them is not romantic at all.

Yes so good!! Lee Je Hoon acting is chefs kiss and the fact that I learnt about so many real cases from it! Sadly it was not on popular streaming platform so people don't talk about it 😢

All these are excellent dramas and have more depth than some of the more popular ones on Netflix. I say it is the viewer's loss if they don't watch and appreciate these dramas. My favorite of all time, My Mister, is just a masterpiece! In my opinion, nothing comes close to this gem of a drama.

Watched The Fiery Priest because of Kim Nam Gil, he's such an amazing actor. I remember how much I've waited for this drama. Wasn't disappointed ^^

In defense of historical dramas most international fans tend to avoid them due to unfamiliar history so they are a bit difficult to understand.

My mister is an actual masterpiece, been more than a year since my sister and I watched it, but we still talk about the beautiful intricacies to this day. I think no drama can come close to how my mister touched me emotionally
