3:40 The ctrl-erase is now asset specific. You can set in the tool menu which eraser the brush asset uses. I've been trying to get into GP, but i just can't make any sense of it. My brushes never do what i want from them, lines keep changing after i draw them and i can't set up textured brushes and even if i accidentally get a textured brush going, the next time i launch blender everything is broken again. I don't understand why it's so hard.

GP really does test you :') It's amazing at some things and then others (**colouring**) it's so time consuming to fix especially when you have a lot of detail. If you get your settings how you want them -- go to -- file, defaults, save startup file - just make sure your canvas is blank and you've got layers/materials set up the way you want them and next time you start a new 2D project in blender it'll open with those settings :)

wish I could take credit for doing the audio in Spanish but that's a new feature from KZbin! It should automatically translate into french and Spanish now? can't confirm if it's correct since I only speak English sadly! Hope it was helpful though! Looking to do a variety of editing styles to keep things fresh, glad you liked this one :D

in draw mode, click and hold the box tool (just beneath the fill tool) to access the extra arc, line, curve tools :)

How can I add all my animated scenes into a video to make a 2D animation film in a blender grease pencil? I want to learn the process.

I'd recommend making each scene or shot as a new project, export them and then use davinci resolve to put them all together with sound (the way I do it). If you want to do it entirely in blender you could also bring them together in the editing tab of blender and add sound to it there too and then export :)

In 4.3 the boundary stroke shortcut for the fill tool doesn’t work, which is very frustrating.

Yes! Also when I switch tools I’ve found the brush size changes and if I’m drawing and use the shortcut to erase without switching tools it’ll only use the dissolve function rather than point or stroke! 4.3 isn’t there yet but I’m hoping they’ll add those features back to make it better!

This was driving me bonkers. I thought it was something wrong with my tablet, but then opened 4.2 and it worked. Seems they rushed Grease Pencil v3 out with 4.3 to get more feedback(some speculate) lots of broken things still. There's a post about it on the blender dev forum, with a lot of the working/not-working issues listed.

how to edit shortcut whenever I try to edit shortcut like B for brush or E erase or F fill the shortcut mix it up with the other blender shortcut aunt in the default the tool not have shortcut and the grease pencil add-on too

you might be in the wrong editor? usually I'll find what I want to do and use the search bar to see if there aren't any similar names that I might have used instead. If you get your settings how you want them -- go to -- file, defaults, save startup file - just make sure your canvas is blank and you've got layers/materials set up the way you want them and next time you start a new 2D project in blender it'll open with those settings :) Sometimes if I use shortcuts to 'go to next frame' and my cursor is over the canvas and not the timeline it sometimes doesn't work so I have to move it first. Might be that. Might be a random Blender quirk! Every update comes with new challenges :') I use the Tourbox Elite for all my shortcuts so I've not changed any of the original shortcuts - you can get cheaper external mini keypads to do something like this too if that was something that worked. A friend of mine reconfigured an old game controller to work as the shortcuts.

@@U.O.S hmm you should be able to set the keys on your tablet to the shortcuts of blender within your tablet driver!

How to blur layer

You could probably do this in the Compositing tab. Go to ADD -- Filter -- Blur. Haven't tested nodes too much yet but I'm sure someone's made a tutorial on youtube for it already. Will add this one to my list though!

Modifier List is a free extension that does the same thing, downloadable within Blender itself.
