If the HUB has notches in it from the steels a little bit, could that make the clutch work differently? Thanks

Yea if it has grooves smoothen them out or get a new one

I'd like to put the Rekluse on my KDX 200, but they don't list as being available. What did you use?

I wonder if I didnt get my pressure plate splines lined up with my hub when I put everything back together. Havent started yet but the clutch pull was super hard, and I had to adjust the cable almost maximums. But then after actuating it quite a few times with the lever I feel the pressure plate and hub grooves may have meshed back up because I was able to adjust the cable back to about halfway in its adjustment range. I wonder if I should lay the bike over, tke cover off and inspect a little.

I am in the same boat right now. I installed a new basket & plates. Once I put the clutch over on my clutch lever was super tight. I adjusted it but it’s super tight still. I feel like I did something wrong. When I looked on my Cyclepedia account, it informed me to do this...Rotate the impeller as needed to mesh the water pump gears. Install the kick pedal onto its shaft and turn it by hand to aid in meshing the gears. Not really sure what that means. I would really appreciate your guidance on this one.

I bought one of your HInson basket rekluse setups (used) from another KDX owner. When I use the washer between the basket and clutch pack, the last friction plate sits above the basket fingers (the exact width of the washer). There is a steel sleeve in the hinson. Looks like he ran it without a washer from the visible wear. Do I still need the washer in this case? Not sure theres enough room to fit a smaller washer otherwise. Thanks for the great write ups, videos, and any advice you can provide!

Why not mention what the torque specs are? Most used bikes don't come with service manuals these days. It would be nice if I could watch this video and know about how tight the bolts/nuts have to be.

I believe if I am correct from memory the spring bolts are around 6.5 ft/lbs and the center nut that holds the clutch on is around 60 ft/lbs
