It is so wild for me to hear Keala speak with this accent because she grew up in Hawaii with me. Her parents were from England and New Zealand, however, so they had accents like this. I am here because I just awoke from a dream where I saw Keala and heard her talking and told her I thought she had a beautiful voice. Keala has a strong voice. It intimidated me as a teenager because I was a rather quiet and reserved person. It is fascinating for me to hear her personal views about herself and her voice. Many of us were very proud of Keala when she won the "Brown Bags to Stardom" talent competition in Hawaii and have been impressed by her success as well as her humility.
