It is one of the rare courses. So it has advantages and disadvantages. You have to contact some alumni who has studied there for more information. At present I don't have the information about the Placement Statistics.

Please check the KAEM 2022 Prospectus. It lists all colleges with Automobile Engineering. Just search in Google. Only a very few Colleges has Automobile Engineering.

That depends. Some Govt Controller Self financing Colleges are good but some are not good. Similarly there are some best performing Self financing Colleges and some are worst. So it is up to you to analyze and select.

There are opposite sides too They may reduce mark for students they don't like. I got engineering degree only because of university exam. College professors will try thier maximum to fails us , if they don't like us

Yeah such bias exists in many colleges. But if you feel that you have not received a fair treatment from an Autonomous College, you may approach higher authorities like University, AICTE, UGC etc.
