1st year seat in 1 class is 60 2nd ,, ,, 66 ( that 6 seats are for LET students) Some students in 1st year will leave to NIT, IIT, Medical colleges etc. That seats are called lapsed seats. That seats are filled in 2nd year by LET students.

I think it is nearly six seats in 2nd year for lateral entry students in each branch in every colleges.. This is actually tight competition among 5000 students.. max of 66 seats available for each branch in each colleges for keam qualified students..

Ur right. 5000 students or more per year will be writing the exam. But if you get within rank 500, you can get allotments to the best govt colleges. If u get within rank 1000 also u will get allotment to certain govt colleges.

BTech is always better than BSc Electronics.You take BTech. Why you prefer electronics? For better campus placement CSE is always better.

Nallathahn, pakshe poly passavan eluppamalla. Passavum ennurappundenkil no problem. You will have more life experience if you study Polytechnic, which will help you in ur future. So it's good.

@@shido5248 Bro mention cheythittullathellam school level basic subjects alle, athum Diploma/BTech subject ayt difference undu. Diploma is very similar to Btech, except that Diploma is 60% practical and 40% theory. These engineering subjects in Poly (from 2nd year onwards) are very similar to Btech subjects. Interest nokki Diploma branch select cheythal, u can easily pass or else u will struggle. Also if u pass diploma it will be easier from then on. Btech Sem 3 il Maths undavum, except that everything else is manageable.

Diploma certificate has no value and bcos of that ninakk careeril oru uyarcha undavan bayankara paadavum. This is why most students who complete diploma study Btech, bcos majority of them struggle. Btech has certificate value with which if u have the skill you can move up in ur career. CS nalla branch ahn, placement offers karyamayitt vararullath CS ilekk ahn, depending on colleges. CS edukkunnathinu munpu thanne basic coding ariyunnath nallathayirikkum. So it depends on you, ninakk sheri ennu thonunnath edukkuka bakki ellam set ayikkolum.
