The best group in the last 20 years bar none. Listen again to their debut album Hopes and Fears and tell me I'm wrong ! Tom's voice is immaculate and up there with the best of all time. He even did Freddie justice when he sang an evening of Queen songs. The Boys from Battle - very proud of them coming from my home County.

I discovered Keane 10 years ago, when I was 12. I was so amazed by their music! I am Dutch and used to listen to Dutch music (apart from some hits written in English like Clocks, Sex on Fire, Mr. Brightside, etc), but after I discovered Keane I started to listen to English music only, and discovered bands like Muse, Radiohead, The Temper Trap, Fleet Foxes, Two Door Cinema Club, etc. At age 16 I started to study Pop Music (I am drummer) and I start to realise now how important this band has been for me. Thank you Keane, I still hope to see you live one day!

Nice to read that sometimes when you hear a certain song you have a nice memory and that it has also prompted you to listen to other music to what you usually wanted. I am from a generation when The Beatles and The Rolling Stones were new music. I regularly saw and heard a band like the Golden Earring and other comparable bands practicing and playing in The Hague, where I lived at the time. And still new music reaches me again and again. And that is the power of music. It moves, it gives relaxation, it gives strength, it brings togetherness but above all entertainment. And music can still touch and conquer me. I can't imagine a day without music.
