I think the thing that wasn't played up enough is his charity giving. He donates a lot of money anonymously where no one knows it is from him. He goes so far with this that he has some other entity give the money to charity for him so they don't know it was from him. I love the story about when he went to get tactical gun training for John Wick. The guy that does the training absolutely loved his energy. He didn't come in their arrogant just wanting to look cool for the movie. He came in there wanting to actually know how to do it regardless of the movie. He put the time in and listened to actually become proficient with the weapons. Which is why I think what he does in the movies look so right. He also doesn't think he's better than others. I bumped into him when I first moved to California. I was riding my motorcycle in the canyons near LA. I stopped at a small gas station to fill up and was admiring this bike occupying the pumps adjacent to me. I thought it looked familiar, it was chrome and sleek with no fairings or markings, and kind of a Bonneville meets Ducati Monster thing. As my back was turned and I was doing the insert credit card dance, the rider of said bike had come out and was preparing to leave. I turned and said, "Hey man that's a nice bike!" He turned and was wearing an open face helmet and had on Aviator sunglasses. He just said, " thanks" and took off. The way he said 'thanks' and that voice, the size of him and the way he walked, then it clicked that was an Archer motorcycle, then it dawned on me that it was Reaves himself! I tried to catch him, but he was gone.
