Kearns S-Type Horizontal Boring Mill, Part2 - moving it into the shop

In this episode, we move the Kearns to it's final place in the machine shop, next will be electrical test and first run,.... unfortunately, we found quite a few issues, so please stay tuned for the following episodes.
I just found this much desired addition to my workshop, entirely unexpected.
Recently been to a customer who was moving premises and seen that old machine sitting there on
blocks. Being on the lookout for one of those for quite a while, I could not resist to ask that magic question.
Much to my surprise, he was willing to part with it, now see the result in the video ...:-)

To be honest, the real pleasure was having the machine at it's place, so i finally could figure out what works or not (unfortunately a lot) Moving stuff around on wet soggy ground with a 4 ton (empty weight) forklift struggling to get traction is not really fun ...
