You set off yet more tears, now 2 whole weeks since Johnny's crossing! It's not only your spirited singing of those beautiful harmonies, but also Johnny Clegg's and your embodiment of the harmony we dreamed of when we were struggling back then for the liberation of South Africa. As Chris G said, down below here, there have been forces at work that tore away at those dreams, but you and Johnny give us hope that the people of this beautiful nation will yet overcome. Antoinette, whose body has been in Canada for many years now, but whose heart is still with you. xoOx

South Africa still faces problems in the legacy of apartheid. But at the same time it still has some of the most inspiring institutions in the world. Among them are your music and your amazing rainbow choirs that inspire and move the world, and your legends like Mandela, Clegg, Fassie, Makeba, Masekela, and amazing new young leaders, that challlenge all of us to find our better angels. This old American white guy -- who always feels younger when he hears your music -- loves you all.

RIP Johnny Clegg 😢, no words could describe South Africa's immense loss. Your memory and music will live on through the ages, as you make your crossing we wish you well, HAMBA KAHLE Great Heart. "It's funny how those once so close now gone, still so affect our lives!"😞

First time I’m listening to this tribute all the way through-couldn’t do it back when Johnny died. Came back to it today because I’m sad that the Johnny Clegg Tribute concert has been postponed indefinitely. It’s been 19 months since his passing and almost a year since his ukubuyisa ceremony performed at Sipho Mchunu’s homestead- cried like a baby 😍🇿🇦💔.

Beautiful, of course I cried the whole time, but a bit more for the second song, so fitting, Johnny lives as long as people like these young men sing his songs.

It looks to me that that's what was going on for the woman at the computer, too. See how her hand covers her eyes, a little way in to O Siyaza.

The *true* state of race relations in South Africa! Don't let the self serving politicians and race-baiters convince you otherwise. It genuinely made me weep, both for the loss of this "Spirit of the Great Heart", but also for our beautiful nation, so filled with promise but torn apart by the self serving scavengers that prowl about it. This truly gives me hope that we will yet overcome them! Thank you!
