I don't even know him but I've missed him so much. He has a way with words and an incredible ability to name the feelings I can't explain myself but struggle with everyday. His music inspired my art in so many ways. There's just something so familiar about his songs, they feel like seeing someone you love after long time or the warm, tingly feeling of holding a warm mug of tea on a cold day
@kh51384 жыл бұрын
I think why all of his fans feel this way like he helped you with your art he helped so many people with different issues that's because we feel he is genuine he doesn't lie to us, isn't trying to be popular he just makes art and is honest and real he doesn't fake anything and that's really rare these days

K H exactly. He, as cliche as it sounds, saved my life. I was in a dark place before I discovered Keaton’s music and instead of his music fueling my sadness, it wrapped around me like a blanket telling me that it was alright.

I was seven years old the last time I saw my father alive. All I have left of him is two sweaters, a Carhartt jacket, a tool belt, some photos, and several home videos, much like the ones here. I’ve always felt a disconnect between the “me” of today and the “me” I see interacting with my dad - I don’t have many memories of him at all, and the few that are there have him entirely blocked out, as if he’s this nebulous void of nothingness. I guess that can happen when you’re a kid and you don’t have the best memories of a person. Watching this, and hearing this song, gives me the eeriest sense of déjà vu. My memories have always felt paperthin, and I’ve always felt like I don’t know what role I play when it comes to actually being his daughter since he passed away. My condolences go out to you, Keaton. The pain in some of these lyrics is downright palpable - it resonates with the pain and the grief from losing my dad, some of which has become my traveling companion in this journey we call “life.”

I love this song. I dont know exactly how to describe it but it feels....powerful. Yes his other music is VERY powerful and moving but this has power in another way. His voice seems stronger. This sadness in his voice is not like before. It has not resigned to lay staring at the roof as tears dry. This sadness feels different. I dont know how. But it does. Almost like looking into the eyes that hurt you and speaking your pain. Even if those eyes are your own. Even knowing the pain will remain. Simply saying it. But thats not even talking about the lyrics. I just sound crazy idk. Its 3:44am.

@@pedrohenriquea.1477 I teared up too. I love this song :-)))) . I know what you mean in similar in singing, which you're totally right. He has a very certain way of...portraying emotion in his voice? Yeah. I think songs like kronos or you dont know how lucky you are have a very similar vibe. But i also think all of his songs have a different sadness to each. Im probably over thinking it lol.
