You are a better man than I for rebuilding that contactor, I would have just exchanged it for a new one. Thank you for sharing your circuit on the hybrid driver circuit for the mosfet, it will come in handy in the future I'm sure.

Hello my friend. How are you doing? I got an episode back in January with an drive like that one, the exactly same defect, but it wasn't firing the 24V to power the contactor. The voltage measured by the electronics was a little off, but at first I ignored and checked everything else. Turned out the hybrid module was giving a voltage about 20 or 30V smaller than the real voltage, and that caused the pre charge to never attaches... And the components on the hybrid module measured fine too, the issue was the solder too old. But as I soldered it, some paths gone bad and I ended up designing and manufacturing another board, so I could finally get that bad boy up and running again. And there was 8 stressing days of January... But it's still running to this day, at least. Best regards, my friend. God bless you.
