Kechak Dance

A MUST SEE PERFORMANCE.
Most Indians know Ramayana. But seeing it being performed in Bali, while the sun sets in the ocean far below with just vocals as back ground music and graceful dancers who interact with the crowd… oh! Do not forget the mischievous Hanuman…
The story is skewed a bit, but that is fine. It has traveled across the sea from India to far away Bali…
I have tried to add minimal pointers in the recording of the dance story being enacted. (BTW: the performance is 1 hour long, I have just recorded a bit.)
Go to Uluwatu temple.
Pre book the tickets for the dance through klook app. Get the 6 pm show tickets, please.
Try to sit on the second row bang opposite the actor’s entrance like I did for the best view.

Look out for Hanuman. He just might come near you!
