I'm playing catch up after just recently discovering your site a few months ago. The Keef Hartley Box set review was superb. I too have Half Breed as my only CD but have downloaded most of the others. I used that on Pete's 60's Album show the other day and just got 2 "thumbs up" Obviously there's a lot of people out there who neither heard of this band or just never bothered to check them out. Miller Anderson has some great video on KZbin and plays a great version of Boogie Brothers from his Savoy Brown days. The box set is on my Christmas list. Sorry for being a late comer!

I just started to re listen to keef Hartley after 50 years . I remember buying half breed and the time is near but couldn’t recall all of it . Halfbreed is great . I’m interested in this box set ! Thanks . Forgot how good this band was .

I have the Iron Butterfly, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Steppenwolf, Stomu Yamahta and Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come box sets. All on Esoteric. They do an amazing job on these reissues. I just ordered the Keef Hartley box and it should be here in a week. I can't wait.

Great review of this box set and one I will look out for as I only have some of the albums included. One I do have is the Little Big Band LP which has a gatefold sleeve but for some reason the CD in the set doesn't. Thanks for a great channel.

That’s a very compelling review! And I’m very impressed by the content, quality and price. Funnily enough I just listened to their Woodstock set only last week. I have the big Woodstock box and I had three spare days to do the festival end to end. Which, by the way, is not comfortably possible as there was such a vast amount of music, the only way of getting through it in real time is by excessive sleep deprivation. Their live set was very good and I always wiki the personnel to see who is still around. Sad to see that Keef has been gone a decade and only made it to 67. Quite a legacy here. Fantastic to have the physical product available.

Hi. Just finishing this box set. The live album was foldout in vinyl, the only fault on this box set. Great music on all discs, however I prefer the first four. I think they were even better live, not on live record but being THERE. Those who lived in Europe or USA during 1955- 1982 were the luckiest people on this planet for the great music and movies played every weekend. Check the KZbin video. The one with Barbara Thompson. Master musicians all of them. Another great reissue since LPs or individual CDs are expensive. I don't know if the Woodstock live performance has been launched on record. Saludos desde México
