Coach Mike Brown is currently challenging Murray to grow his game beyond just being a 3pt shooter. Wants him to: create off the dribble. Recognize when he has size advantage. Cut towards Basket, playing a 2 man game with Sabonis. Not deferring to Fox or Heurter when he has an open shot. Defend the opponents best small shooter (e.g. Devin Booker).

That’s 🧢 Keegan doesn’t have more dunks then them, also we have tried to get him more post touches but he just doesn’t use his strength or go up strong and a lot of the time he’s getting blocked by smaller dudes. I’m excited to see his growth but he’s become a bit too predictable.

Strange he appears to lack strength and power on his drives because he was a very physical driver and played post quite a bit at Iowa. He was dunking all the time. His ceiling is enormous tho. Imagine him a little more physical and improving his shot 1%. He'd be a max contract killer. He's already a +1.3 on the year which is the highest amongst starting rookies and very rare to see

No i think we as a fanbase overrate a lot of our players this guy hit the nail on the head Keegan is a elite spot up shooter, who shows flases of being a great movement shooter and at 6,8 that’s crazy. His handle is weak and has no self creation, we as a fanbase we’re going crazy when he did that weak behind the back fade away shot in the middy. He has a lot of room for growth and improvement. Especially now that he’s in the NBA and has access to pro trainer and nutritionist, he can get stronger to better his post game, get some more moves to add to his bag. Doesn’t need a PG13 or Kawhi handle but if he can just put the ball on the floor more that be great. Also this is all coming from a honest kings fan who’s watched every single game this year. LIGHT THE BEAM let’s go Kings.
