I actually did this challenge not too long ago, but without the area restrictions. So I went to the diglett man on Isle of Armor and had to hunt for diglett in order to get more party members. It was insane.

Holy shit, the 2d animations already upped the value on this majorly last time and it only just hit me after like three of them that those are CUSTOM 3D ANIMATIONS TOO. Dude, nobody is doing this like you are. It'd be nice to hear more of your explanations as to why you make some choices like picking the starter, if there's any particular advantage in going for Fire (I imagine to take out Milo easily, but), that kind of thing, but keep doing what you're doing. You're making some of the best Pokemon content out there. (Also, still begging for a Ghost-monotype SV run!)

Could Dawn from the Anime beat Arceus would be fascinating. I mean you can kinda meet her ancestor / play as her ancestor in Legend Arceus and she traveled with Ash long enough so a team would be buildable. Also she can be the female rival in Pearl / Diamond / Platin and the Remake of BP and SD aswell as her ancestor is in Pokemon LA when you pick the male player. She also made some appearences in other games so her repertoire of pokemon is more than 6 so maybe even a nutzlocke?

I did this type of Nuzlock in Crystal Version. I was able to use “gifted” Pokémon and eggs. I started with Totodile and named him Steve. I got Togepi and named him Benedict. I hatched a shiny Pichu from the daycare couple which I simply named Shiny. I kept the Spearow from the guard that was already named Kenya and never delivered the letter. I got an Eevee that I named Fluffy. And I also kept Shuckie the Shuckle. Benedict was lost to Lance and I lost everything except Steve, Shiny, and Shuckie to Red.
