I LOVE the way you present the pedal on camera and make adjustments as well as labeling modes - simple, clean, easy to see what's happening!!!! MANY THANKS, I subscribed!!!!

NICE DEMO AS USUAL Since I am in 50's -60's time warp this pedal seems to do everything I heard from my "formative years" of becoming a Rockabilly 50's/60's junky. Got one coming this week I will run it through the test then.

This is a cool pedal. I use a line 6 in tape mode but want more reverb. This pedal seems to have the best of both worlds. Thanks

Is there such a device for giving you slapback echo on your vocals?

Any delay pedal... If you're looking for vocal specific (not needing an XLR-1/4" adapter), TC Helicon has some great vocal boxes that do everything from delay to verb to EQ to compression, etc. I, personally, have a vocal pedalboard with mixing boost, EQ, bit crusher for cool rate reduction parts, doubler, reverb and delay. I like having separate pedals for quicker reference and adjustments.

Had it, sold it, but sometimes feel like trying it again - nice demo.

Definitely NOT a transparent pedal. It does virtually a version of the same delay/reverb effect we’ve all seen and heard 100+ times from every manufacturer except it has a tone shift specifically toward a limited range 50s room mic(chopped low end and a clipped high end) it is finicky with amp settings, and it will offer enough affected output to overdrive a front end, so depending on what you want, it could go out front or in the loop. It takes time and patience but IMO its worth it. IF you adjust your amp eq to it, and it to your amp eq and give it time and let your ear adjust, it will sound like an old 50s amp maxing a room and fit into a mix in an elusive spot. Some guys undoubtedly will swap it into a spot on a board beside an mxr/ehx/boss/strymon delay and immediately jump to a conclusion about what it does, and thats cool-it is pretty unique and moves things to a different section of the mix.

Nicely demoed! Too often they just talk you to death or do useless crazy space-noise demos.

Great review. It would have been nice to hear the pedal on a semi-acoustic, though.

Why
@christiaandemarezoyens47204 жыл бұрын
@@drew5099 Because that's the kind of guitar that rockabilly players use. Like Scotty Moore who recorded with Elvis at Sun, for example.

Half way decent review mainly because you turned the mix control half way. I’m sure Robert Keely had a reason for having that much level too bad we didn’t get to hear it all the way.

I own this pedal and it's good but the mix button really only works up until 12 o'clock otherwise the effects gets way to saturated and IMHO unusable
