it’s absolutely mad to see you saying you don’t have anything you’re really good at, i’ve been watching your videos years and you’ve always struck me as so so good with people. it seems to come off in your parenting too it’s like you just have this real interpersonal knack that isn’t all that common where you just make people feel comfortable? it’s such a hard time lately with the weather and the dark nights but your videos have been giving me such comfort in a way that makes me feel optimistic, not like a real braindead guilty pleasure sort of way more like the feeling after reading a really good book.

The hunger thing... it can happen when you eat more carbs than fat/protein, or you eat carbs alone. If you eat carbs, pair it even with a tiny bit of fat or protein to balance your blood sugar. You will avoid spikes (shakes, and sick hunger pukey feeling)).

Keelin! I love watching you - I’m sorry you’ve been feeling rubbish. Great to see you enjoying women’s football, the game is really growing! You mentioned your appetite - if you’re on adhd meds they can cause this, and if you aren’t the the adhd itself can cause this, as essentially you miss your own hunger cues until your body is screaming at you. Sounds like you’re managing this well by planning your meals, remember being hungry will make negative emotions feel even bigger! And finally I would like to say a huge vote in favour of car tutorials, I think you would be great at this as you’re a fab teacher. Hope the rest of winter is gentler with you 💕

You need to look into the “fly lady cleaning routine”. The house cleanliness is what sends me over the edge too, it’s just when you’re so overwhelmed and you’ve seen that one spec of dust or fingerprints on the glass it sends you into overdrive. Give it a look on KZbin and I promise you for ADHD it’s a game changer. I’d love to hear if it helped becuase I’ve been using the routine for about 6 months now and it’s become natural. You’re amazing at a lot of things and just because you’re down in the dumps doesn’t make your thoughts true. I think there’s a lot of proof on this thread that you’re a very talented, knowledgeable and beautiful person in our society. Most of all you’re a great mum. You’re sharing of spelling and words is what inspires me for my own son so you’re blessed it seems to come naturally. You can’t do it all!! You are the biggest contributor to her learning so it’s very lucky that Jason is good at bedtime. It gives you a chance to shower or do something for yourself. Keep being you :)

8:31 How you described your appetite is exactly how I feel. But it only started when I started taking medication for my anxiety. I’m just suddenly starving, my stomach feels so empty it’s sore and I’m weak af. It’s horrendous!! I miss being normal hungry!!

I don’t have kids but I’ve always been bad at getting them down to sleep when I babysit. I did see something about only having salt lamps/low light on in the house near bedtime to help with circadian rhythm

Stunning vibes, so sorry you were feeling so naf Keelin. You covered some really interesting topics in this video. Ahhhh love love love. B’s smiley face was iconic. I was sat here watching her draw it like 😮 like surely she’s so advanced for her age right?!!! I wasn’t talking until 4. But miss B over here!!! Wow!!! I always love watching her do her alphabets and numbers. Was class when you caught onto her drawing and shared the same amazement. Thanks for sharing varying degrees of your life- the moments of joy dancing in the lounge or colouring with B. Moments which may be more mundane like your groceries haul (keep em coming ma’am, I always try things from your videos- gonna try the hip choc peanuts. I tried a VG muller corner after you showed them and I loved them). Plus the moments where you feel a bit naf and we may sit here and relate to some degree. We appreciate being a fly on the wall for so many things. Catch you soon Keelin Ps. We been getting FED this December with your content. Happy holidays lovely family

would love to reccomend getting a stationwagon and not an suv if youre thinking of a 'bigger' and safer car. Suv's are ridiculously wide for no reason, and almost always have less actual space on the inside than other types of cars! SUV hate club over here but hope you find a nice car :)

Also regarding the hungry feeling - I would recommend seeing a nutritionist. I saw one in Dublin and helped so much. She was able to explain why i personally had that exact numb feeling and no hunger signals, or just sugar/fat cravings when it did get to a critical point. Apparently my past disordered eating habits had taught me to ignore natural cues, and I literally didn’t feel hungry at normal times even when in a better place. Then I craved sugar constantly and she told me it’s because that’s the brains fastest way to access energy. I’m still not perfect, but making an effort and eventually she says it’ll balance out

Sounds like you may have imbalanced blood sugar? Worth checking out. A continuous glucose monitor is better than a blood test bc it gives you more information. Also, side note, just noticed your supplements on top of the microwave - the radiation lowers the nutrients so I would find a different spot for them. Sorry you're having a rough time with the lack of sun - we'll get through this together!! :)

I would advise not getting a strictly electric car, you don't want to get caught out between charging stations (more few and far between that petrol stations)
