Exactly. Besides, I believe the time for highly paid (20+ mil/y) WRs is coming to an end. Tyreek Hill's fabulous but pointless 2023 season is putting an end to it, and showing that the greatest WRs are just a sideshow. They can't make miracles happen. 3 of the 2023 conf-games contenders had cheap and/or rookie WRs delivering just great. The WR market will follow the RB market: sharply down. The focus, and the big bucks, are shifting towards the less glamorous but key elements who make it all possible: the OL/DL men. Peace, William.

KA hands down is one of the best WRs in the past 10 yrs. However he wasn't the "take it to the house" type of player. I'm looking forward to see if we get a rookie WR like Harrison who can catch the ball and take it all the way!! It's going to be interesting to see what happens.

This is going to be a mix of the ravens and lions, that is what I think we'll see from Harbaugh. He'll model the run game after the lions, and he will play to the strengths of his defense. He will run his style of offense which is ground and pound, and when a play needs to be made, that is when herbert will be relied upon. That way herbert's also not beat up come playoff time. Expect the WR room to be similar to the ravens too, at least for this first year while the guys are still developing. Expect this rookie WR who I expect to be nabers/odunze to come in and be instant playmakers, kind of like a zay flowers. Expect palmer to be your steady guy like OBJ. The X-factor in this recieving room is QJ. The direction of this reciever room will rely on QJ's development this year and how this rookie performs, whether it's coming right out the gates like Puka or just showing flashes here and there like Addison

They didn't only lose Keenan, you lose Mike Williams as well. And im expected their offense will get better just because they added Harbaugh, but got rid of Herberts top 3 weapons? He's not Mahomes man, every other elite team has elite WRs

And the point is the future, Kenan Allen is not in the future, and he justin does not need to be Tom brady, he needs to learn how to make his throws count. I love it, bring in the future wr's and let them develop with franchise qb without always looking to telegraph the ball to Kenan to bail you out, I can't see justin developing in the offense with a handicap by the name of Kenan allen.

When NFL teams were analyzed for salary cap vulnerability, the Chargers ranked three up from the bottom, 28/32. They carried way too many bad contracts. Something had to give. Bosa, Mack, Allen, and Williams would have been cut had it not been for the cap boost. They chose defense over offense. The person responsible for those bloated contracts should be fired if he hasn't already.
