I took the A52S on my vacation last summer and loved it. I used it with the mini max conversations and my wife really enjoyed working with it. It is always good when I can say dame we build some good stuff.

I talked to mark, and he was very helpful to me. So Iam catching up on your ut videos. Looks like very nice stuff. I will be sending you guys' money often because I want to change this box around with all your accessories. Also, thanks for taking the time to talk to me. These days it means a lot to me, to be able to talk to the owners. Thank you Mark.

My buddy has this sluice and the first time i helped him run material with it i was impressed with the classifier especially the 1st lip where the water goes through the grizzly,it created a suction,almost like a mini venturi affect iu could lay my hand on top of it and feel the pressure forcing the classified material under it. Great sluice!

You are absolutely right it is disgusting how they are grabbing more and more land every day. Locking up gates more restrictions especially when they are using self-serving science. The truth is Keene Engineering does more than any other company out supporting organizations that are trying to make a difference. At one time we lead some of the organizations however sometimes people have other priorities. We will continue to provide support for the outfits that make a difference such as the AMRA and other worthy causes

Thanks Keene inc. Your products are top of the line. I just bought the A52super sluice. I'm seeing other videos were it looks like added V matting to the top of the flare. This doesn't look stock. Do you advise adding+glueing extra v mat to top of flare? Would it default the warranty? Thanks paulcormier29@ g mail com
@KeeneEngInc4 жыл бұрын
@@pauly51 We keep going back and forth with the half and full mats all our testing was with the half matting and it worked great. I had several customer-requesting full matting in the flare so we did it. Then after a lot of feedback, the full matting slowed the material down and reduced the production. It simply slows the material down to much in some materials. So we are settling on the half matting.

Not an engineer but for all practical purposes it appears the front of the box should be higher looks to me as if there’s too much flow? I’d adjust for two inches of water flow inside box! Maybe I’m messed up just my opinion. Enjoy all of your videos Keene Brothers keep up good job!

For fine gold... yes! There are several things we can do to make sure we are catching as much gold as possible. We can reduce the volume and or velocity as suggested and or we can add another A-52 box as an extension. We can run a line of magnets across the box to catch the blacksand and then use the magnetic black sands to trap the fine gold. Even running as fast as they were... you can see they still caught a decient amount of both black sand and micro-fine gold. (These guys are generally after gold they can pick up with their fingers). In ultra-fine gold areas I run two boxes and I run low and slow and classify to either 1/4 or 1/8. With the A52S... we bypass the tedious fine clasifications and shovel into the box or we can classify to 1/2" and feed from the bucket. During the pandemic... when I got my money... I went strait to town to the sporting goods store. There was a green origional Le Trap bank robber leaned up against the display... I bought it and cut the back out and made a river robber sluice out of it. Placed on the end of a standard sluice box... the Le Trap does a great job of catching all of the black sand and the micro-fine gold. It cleans up in a flash and is ready to go back to work in less than a minute. They could, you could and we can hold a 70 - 100 mesh clasifier at the end of the sluice to see if we letting anything get past our system.

Hey Pat! Now you're getting it! Instead of having 1 product that does everything, offer multiple products that do one thing well and does it as good or better than the other guy. Experienced prospectors have different techniques for different condition, as carpenter, pipe fitters, welders..... wouldn't it be nice to have a welding machine that would handle any situation? It will never happen! Just like making 1 sluice for all occasions. Good luck! Ron

I ordered this sluice and I am going to try it out in August. I am curious as to how well it compares with Fluid Bed Sluices such as the one made by Greenmountaingoldtrap and how well it captures fine gold compared to a Le Trap Sluice. I am pretty excited over not having to classify material: that alone increases the efficiency for time and effort spent. The return rate for total gold capture and minimizing the loss rate is also critical. Both the Greenmountaingoldtrap and Le Trap Sluices are very simple to do clean outs. The former has the advantage of just keeping the sluice in place in the river and the trap is taken out, cleaned and then put back in. So there is that as well: number of clean outs and ease of clean outs and whether or not the entire sluice needs to be removed.

I am sure you will love the new sluice box. We have had lots of feedback on 98% has been positive. Plus if you compare it to all the other sluice boxes the legs are a game changer. The only issues we have had is the main sluice does require lots of water when using the sluice and the box should be completely underwater to keep the rocks moving through the sluice. Big rocks do require more velocity to keep moving. The only other comments we have had is in slow water conditions you have to go back to a conventional sluice and you have to pre-classify. We had a few comments that the Miracle matting could bow up in the center so we one more change in the sluice we added a few bars to hold down the Miracle matting.

Keep up the great work guys! I'm really looking forward to trying this grizzly out! I usually classify to 1" for my Keene sluices. If this mod can handle 1-3" rocks and retain more fine gold in the A52 , were in business! Do you guys have a prototype screen for the 3" combo unit? Ahh, maybe not enough water flow? Stewards of the Land, every prospecting video should end with that!

As a gold miner tool production company, you should be doing more with other production companies and help stop the damn government from shutting the water ways off from us prospectors. They’re grabbing more and more every day away from us.
@manzchello47524 жыл бұрын
Or allow less restrictive claims. Most people have jobs and won't find enough gold dust to pay for squat. No sense in blowing thousands on claims that guarantee the same as Jack squat. Prospecting is funner with a team. It's safer, and perfect outdoors activity away from city life...
@megapint16264 жыл бұрын
M Z Very true. Non-profit clubs are the best way to get into claims with affordable annual dues, plus like minded people to have outings with. I just wish the GPAA would get better leases in Ohio. There are way better areas they can lease for members. Getting the access is the hardest part, but they can buy property.

At 13:33 you mentioned "Trap" what kind of trap are you taking about? Are you talking about something like the Grizzly Gold Trap? Just to clarify so we all know what you're talking about.

I think that your need to go back to start and try again, after buying this product it doesn`t matter what speed of water or the right site up this sluice doesn`t find gold, your moving rocks off of the screen with every shovel of material you place in the sluice, bad product. I have a Le trap that does the same, I can shovel into the sluice and at there isn`t every shovel I don`t have to remove the rock …………….
@patkeene36375 жыл бұрын
Hi this is Pat from Keene. I left you a message to call me for assistance. The water needs to be at the top of the sluice for it to have enough surface area to move larger rocks. You also need a lot of speed for the screen to work properly. The sluice needs a lot of energy to work effectively. There are many prospectors using this sluice with great results. Just maybe there is something different or just call so we can talk about improving for your area. I am very interested in giving you some customer support and maybe a modification. Regards
