Which TI songs would you say are on a simpler side? For guitar beginners

Good question. The first couple of Tame songs I learned back in high school were Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind, Elephant, and Half Full Glass of Wine. The last 2 have easy riffs that are so fun to play. Make Up your Mind also only has 4 chords repeated throughout the whole song plus a really simple and fun solo. Definitely give those a try🤙🏼

I started transitioning from classic to electric guitar in great part because of Tame Impala’s music. The songs I learned as a beginner were: - Solitude is Bliss - Feels Like We Only Go Backwards - It Is Not Meant To Be - Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind - Expectation (rhythm is kind of challenging, but it gives you a lot of chops in exchange!) - Mind Mischief (on the harder side, but the way it uses only parts of chords / intervals teaches you a lot about chord voicings, and the melody is pretty much the same throughout, just played differently which is also very cool)

That’s a Bluesdriver with its gain cranked to max, using the rhythm pickup on the Rickenbacker with the tone rolled all the way off.

For this song its not the usual huge Tame pedal set up. It's just BD-2 > KTG Preamp. Then add some delay automation like there is on the track.
