Lonerism imo is Kevin’s greatest work ever, it’s a hybrid between the old style psych rock of innerspeaker and the more digital synthesised style of currents but blended to a perfect outcome. Very introspective psychedelic work ✌️

@@nicholasking5734 I know what it's like to be in Paris in springtime and summer, I can assure you that this album is perfect for it. If anybody has the opportunity to experience it, I recommend it. From the afternoon in the park or the seine border, to the evening at the bar and the night at a party in an apartment, to the next morning and the feeling of the city waking up to a sunny new day. Is it crazy to say that the unreleased Lonerism sketches and B-sides might be my favorite Tame era ever? Listening to these, it's so obvious Kevin was already thinking about Currents, but wasn't quite there yet. Retina Show may be my favorite song ever, but damn, tracks 9 & 10 on this sketch album... there's something different about them. I love listening to this whole album of sketches in its entirety while driving. I know people are saying these should have been full-length songs (and they're good enough to be), but I personally love how short they are. You miss them as soon as they're over and have to listen to the whole album again, just to get a taste of everything. It's genius.
