shadowtakamiki1 sadly both are dark so you can't use it for the Meltdown one But you can still return aleister you used to make Meltdown

Everyone keeps "forgetting" about it because it's bad. Invoked is a deck that already relies on their Normal Summon to make their plays, that don't even need help recycling Aleister more than they already do and actively don't want to run DARKs because it's the Attribute that synergizes the least with them. Instead of wasting a turn Summoning a monster face-down so that you can wait _another_ turn to fetch the Invocation you want (if your opponent doesn't gets rid of him by effect, that is), you could use Dark Eruption and just do it instantly... which nobody does because _it is bad._

I would say that this card does better and is best for blue eyes fusion decks. Think about it, you can use its effect to add a great polymerization from your deck to your hand, bring back the Blue Eyes White Dragon you discarded for its effect, and then fusion summon Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and have a 4500 attack beat stick with destruction protection that can attack multiple times and has piercing damage.

This would be great in Shaddoll if we ever get construct to 1, even with this card’s second effect being irrelevant. Being able to play 9 shaddoll fusions instead of 6 would be a huge help to consistency would solve one of the decks real problems ( if you don’t open a fusion you lose)

I think this card is the card you play if you're playing a ritual based dark magician deck without impcantations. Also, Summoner monk specials this from the deck (get it off the field with knowledge). So basically a (not really consistent) ritual based dark magician deck will end with a magician of chaos, Dark magician the dragon knight and (hopefully) dark magical circle and eternal soul face down #ASSFIRST at the ready. If they Kaiju or or Laval Golem it, just bring it back with eternal soul and watch it protect your backrow. Also works with magician of chaos (put magicial of black chaos MAX in your deck to summon with it's float effect).

Most likely says face-down so you don't get any SS effect from the summoned card, just a different spin (that handily excludes links at the same time) on "with it's effects negated".

It deck thins two cards and sets up a fusion summon, sadly it's not a guaranteed fusion summon but it's practically two cards in one so its pretty good, not amazing since you can't link summon but there's not really any link/fusion support anyways so that clause wouldn't necessarily restrict most fusion decks.

Aye some Buster Blader support. I can't search their quick play fusion card but I'll gladly take a way to tutor out the Buster Blader and just go into his fusion since the buster dragon can be brought out next turn with a trap anyways (Still loses to ash blossom though :( )

This card’s second effect cannot special summon shaddolls from the gy face down. It has to state the EXACT name on the materials required for that fusion monster(example: 3x blue-eyes white dragon for blue-eyes ultimate dragon) so 1 shaddoll monster doesn’t mean monster reborn for any shaddoll monster.

Great for invokes, melodious, hero's and Shaddols. But it can't simply add eye of Timaeus to your hand. So its not that good for dark magician.

Except it's bad in most decks you just mentioned? - Invoked can't search their Fusion Spell, and can only revive Aleister because his name is the only printed name in the Fusions... and you NEVER will need any help recycling Aleister. - Melodious can't search their Fusion Spells, nor revive any monster because none of their Fusions list printed names. - HEROs already can search anything they damn want, and can't revive anything other than the bad Normal Monsters. - Shaddolls CAN make use of it, as they do appreciate searching Shaddoll Fusion (but sadly, can't do El Shaddoll), but they have problems in running more DARKs because that limits their ability to make their other Fusions, and he can't revive anything in the Deck.

As it's made for dark magician I think the face down requirement was put on there so the 'dark magician' you will most likely summon won't trigger circle or be affected by eternal souls. I don't play the deck however I have a friend who plays it and I think it's a logical reason. Correct me if I'm wrong

I don't play ba shaddols at all but it can dump free ba/shadolls and can even get some flips if need be. Reason why el shadoll fusion is so good cos it disrupts plays much like mask change with dark law. This card adds consistency.
