You've never played dungeon keeper obviously. The keeper beats his minions to keep them in line. It's cruel and unusual... But he's the dungeon keeper. ;)

The forge melts down equipment you aren't using to extract materials from it.

Agreed but I definitely bet mods add them, lots of game to unpack here. Plus it seems like the other units add layers, like the harpies fly so I wonder if they can move around enemies easier
