He was still better than any of those names you mentioned, he was still the best keeper in the first division for a full season after retiring from international football, the man was an absolute legend.

Shilton last world cup should if been 1986 , he was the world's best in 70s to early 80s .He went on to long .

The lack of understanding and appreciation regarding goalkeeping from some of the commentary is unbelievable. Argentinian keeper saves a penalty; commentator: “he’s missed it!”
