Your Opinion is absolutely Valid, i personally own a lot of roja bottles, its definitely not for everyone, but i personally love the very complex and quite natural Scents of Roja, the opinion of others isn't really something i wear a fragrance for, even though a lot of people actually like them on me.

As a whole, I agree with what your saying People need to understand that you dont need to wear fragrances only to garner compliments or to even impress other enthusiasts who are chronically online Just wear what you like ! SIMPLE On that note, I wore enigma pour homme for the first time and asked 2 friends what they thought. They smelt it on my hand, looked at me weird and said it smelt like spicy cola 😂😂😂 This was when i realised what you were talking about in this video

Interesting take, and from my experience Enigma and Sweetie Aoud has been the most complimented fragrances from ROJA. the amount of attention & compliments I get whenever I wear Sweetie Aoud is just something I've never experienced with other fragrances in my collection, I'm talking like people walking up to me to tell I smell amazing and wanting to try it out, but different walks of life like different things for sure, so I get your point.

I been following for a bit and thought I was aligned with your taste in perfume. I love Elysium but Oceania is a No Go!!! for me.. I ordered a sample mi the ago. Tried on 3 separate occasions and it’s okay. I liked Enigma better but would not cop either one. Elysium will always be in my collection. To each his own. I will continue to try out different ROJA Scents.

Anyone who gets upset over a opinion on fragrances has bigger problems in life than they realize. your right about the frag community online. Ive never ran across a person wearing PDM Layton. Never had roja enigma get complimented even thoughIlike it. I would suggest Harrods pour homme from roja. Its one of rojas more mainstream fragrances like Elysium or Oceania. but it lasts longer.

I think it’s an age thing, I have been into perfume since my early 20’s. Then I wore Clinique happy, flower bomb, Lancôme miracle . I remember hating some of the fragrances I currently love, all of Tom ford as example. I am 39 now and in a time of my life where I can afford Roja, amouage, Clive Christian ect. I think because my social circle is now older 😂 they also appreciate these fragrances, a 18-30 might not like them. My most complemented fragrance by younger people 16-25 (I work in restaurants) is honestly skin musk oil by bonne bell 😂 but I love wearing it at work because it does smell great, and when they ask where they can get it, I know it’s easily accessible and affordable for them. Now if I am trying to get my husbands attention Roja amber aoud, Clive Christian blonde amber, xerjoff ouverture and amouage guidance do the trick 😉

Yeah the fragrance snobs hating on Sauvage and Bleu De Chanel and “smelling it everywhere”.I have 200 full bottles in my collection now and I still love these two. I would be super excited to smell Sauvage or BDC daily in the city on others. But in reality I rarely pass someone who wears a fragrance. Regarding Roja, I have Oceania, Elysium and Burlington and was going to look deeper into the house of Roja. But your video changed my mind. Because even Burlington is not very easy to like. And I am usually a blind buyer. Oceania and Elysium I tried before. But Burlington was a blind buy. People compare it to Tygar. But it has completely nothing to do with Tygar. Tygar is mass appealing and easy to wear for all age groups. Burlington is 40+.

What I forgot to add. No other house gives me the experience I got from Roja. And I am 20 years into fragrances. The luxury and transformation is something that made me interested in other perfumes of the house. Burlington transforms so crazily and there is something magical in the air. Same with Oceania.

The best fragrance i've ever smelled is Roja Burlington 1819. The only fragrance i call "Magic". I'm waiting for the store to get a new batch next week, and i'm Finally getting my own 100ml bottle. I wear Danger regularly. It's Not a "dangerous" scents. It's a woody, sweet and fruity fragrance to me. More class then sass.

Yes agree with you. I was influenced by the internet to try Atelier des ore Lune Feline as some youtuber described it as the best vanilla scent ever and when i smell it, i wasn’t blown away. Smell like spices in the kitchen 😂😂😂 (i do get that, smell is subjective) but i dont want to spend $300 just to end up smelling like cardamom.

I have a question about Oceania. When I first received it I thought I had a faulty fragrance. I let it rest about a 1 1/2 month and it became a good one. It behaved like those middle eastern clones? Any body else experienced this?????

Some fragrances macerate when you get them spray out of them and then let them sit. From now on when you get a fragrance spray it a few times and let it sit a few months. Consider that alot of youtubers have so many fragrances they use them and then let them set for months on end.

Funny stuff!😅 I tend to pay more attention to negative reviews such as, "smells to me like cat urine inside a dentist's office." Or "this fragrance smells like a gingerbread cookie dipped in Pine-Sol." THAT is an utter simplification of a fragrance, but it's real and relatable. I know if a blind-buy it, I will agree even if the fragrance is more than that. When a Fragrantica reviewer writes poetic, non-sensical paragraphs that make me eye roll, I know that person is just a snobby clown and the fragrance is gonna be a huge disappointment. 😅

Roja can't do fresh fragrances the way Creed does. Harrods Burlington and Elysium each last 1h max and Oceania is too harsh and also not a performer.
