Katrina made him and many others literally have to start there lives over from scratch. I remember when a lot of Louisiana kids came into the Houston school system. Many were without clothes and parents without jobs. It's a crazy thing to overcome. I say that only because I saw what those people went through to get back to having normal lives. It took a while for them to make that transition. His story was a legit struggle
