Keeping musical traditions alive - Stay Strong Pacific

Rita Seumanutafa is helping to put Pacific Islanders on the musical map in Australia.
The Samoan composer and music director utilises music to engage with community and encourages others to learn about, and continue, their Pacific culture and musical traditions.
Rita also studies Samoan music and ethnomusicology, and is well on the way to becoming the first Pacific Islander to complete a PhD in music from the Conservatorium of Music at The University of Melbourne.
