It has its ups and downs just like any other tank. Everything seems to balance itself out in the end.

Beautiful tank. Do you use filter socks on your tank? Wondering if it traps your pods coming back down into your sump.

Question... do these twin spot goby's work well with pistol shrimps?
@erinwinn71023 жыл бұрын
For a 30 gallon tank with a 20 gallon refugium, what other fish do u recommend could live with him? We wanted a fire fish or wrasse but are afraid they won’t get along
@ReeferGil7 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Is your fug gravity feed into the DT? You have tons of microfuana..
@ReefSpy7 жыл бұрын
+ReeferGil Thanks Gil. It sits a little higher than the rest of the sump and gets water pumped in from the overflow section of the sump then overflows back into the return section of the sump.

Your videos are great. Do you have a video about your corals? I am new to reefing and setting up my tank now. I want some of the same corals you have, but not sure what they are called. I mostly will have softies for now.
@ReefSpy6 жыл бұрын
thanks man, I'll be doing more videos soon. I'll see what I can do.

Dang you got a good look in tank. So how much did those twin spots set you back?
@ReefSpy6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I think they were about $25 each. Do so research on them, mine disappeared after a few weeks, I read a lot of people report same thing. I think they might be hard fish to keep alive in an aquarium. They are really cool though!
@rajgill7576Ай бұрын
Can they pair with pistol shrimp?
@TheSprayking4 жыл бұрын
do you go into your refugium and and scoop out some pods to feed or they colonize into main display through return pump? thx!
@ReefSpy4 жыл бұрын
They make their way up naturally.
@hihowego41333 жыл бұрын
Curious to know how they did..or how long they lasted? Looks like they would have been out competed for food. Plus one had a concave belly . I directly fed mine ..hid mysis, fish eggs in the sand everyday but they unfortunately wasted away.
@ReefSpy3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, unfortunately these didn’t last too long. Not sure what happened, they just disappeared. I don’t think they do well in aquariums.

Would this fish be ok with bahamas oolite sand? Because im going to use that substrate in my 32 gallon coralife biocube tank.
@ReefSpy6 жыл бұрын
Yes I think so. Oolite is very fine so it should be able to sift that easily. Both of my fish disappeared. Not sure what happened to them. Good luck with yours!

You have any male anthias in your tank?
@ReefSpy7 жыл бұрын
ademir loco 4 fish yes. Just one. The female died for some reason.
@ademirloco4fish6547 жыл бұрын
ReefSpy cool I have 2 redbelted females in mine but they can't stop bullying the others fish, hard to find an redbelted male in the uk so I don't know if I should get just any or a similar anthias male Any advice? Thanks Amazing tank pal Thanks
@ReefSpy7 жыл бұрын
I don't know much about those types, but I have a male Lyretail Anthias. He doesn't really seem to bother anyone. The female Lyretail was fine in the tank for about 6 months then one day went into the rock and didn't come back out. I'm still not sure why she did that.
@ademirloco4fish6547 жыл бұрын
ReefSpy thanks sorry about it. I just lost them today my to anthias and 1x cleaner shrimp. Died for suffocation 36dg last nite so. They gone.
