Jeremy, did you know that my network carrer is somehow due to your existence? First of all, I should have learned subnetting from my colleagues at work and from my CISCO instructor and still couldn't master that. Now thanks you I somehow understood it so that I can explain to other, if you know what I mean. Soo, big thanks, you managed somehow to make me trade geography (what I studied) with networking (what I do and what I love most now). Think of that because that is huge!

This is CCNP...and, you're right. Firewalls aren't a part of ENCOR.

Hi Jeremy! Quick question: If my CCNP is about to expire later this year, should I take the new exams (ENCOR + Concentration) before my cert expire or can I take them after even if my CCNP is already expired? I believe there is no pre-requisite for the new CCNP unlike the current one, where you have to take the CCNA and start all over again if your CCNP cert expired. Thanks.

Correct - the only "pressure" to renew your CCNP is the fact that you'll have to take ENCOR + something instead of just ENCOR to renew your old NP.
