Lovely film, and the commercials were a delightful bonus. I remember when those aired. $1.79 for two soft tacos and and a drink. We live in a different world now.

When Taco Bell first came out in CA, the tacos were 25 cents ea. Thankfully, I make my own tacos, and, my grandkids think they are the best! They are!

I saw this movie shown on tv in the late spring/early summer of 1966. I fell in love with that kitty and asked for a kitty for my 5th birthday, which was coming up. My dad said no at first because we already had a dog. But mom finally talked him into agreeing, so for my birthday I got a kitten and named her Thomasina. I had her for nearly 15 years, and of course I’ve since had several other cats (I have two right now). I credit this movie for making me a crazy cat person. ♥️♥️♥️🐈‍⬛🐾

Unfortunately, a part of this marvelous movie has been cut: The scene where Thomasina, after her 'death', she appeared before the cat goddess and appealed for a second life.

Yes, that was edited out for the television broadcast unfortunately. You’ll have to find the DVD for that!

Yes, I did note your editing of original Wonderful World of Color onto beginning of this 1986 San Francisco TV station showing where the voice-over says "The Wonderful World of Disney" - well done and thanks for the effort you make to present these as close as possible to original presentation
