I don't think most wrestling fans even know Keepin It 100 exist. Put an ad on a couple of Conrad's shows (maybe he'll give you a discount lol) and let people know that the podcast exist and that it's free. More guest is always a good way to gain listeners as well, especially if they're popular like Bischoff and Conrad. A KZbin channel advertised on Something to Wrestle With and he gained a ton of followers after that. He was just starting out, wanted to grow his channel quickly, so he bought ad space. It worked.

I agree on everything with Eric except the fact that he calls BS that kids today aren't watching wrestling on their phones as opposed to on TV... Eric is under the impression of people watching it only from their phone & forgets ALOT of people stream it from their phones and screen casts it to their television or they use their firesticks to find a live stream of Raw or SD... We cancelled Cable, YEARS ago. Everything I ever wanna see including live television is so easily accessible. This more than anything (phones/internet) including gaming is whats hurt the Nielsen & Cable companies the most.

The fact that Nielsen is even a thing anymore is ridiculous. Every cable box and streaming service sends out and receives data that is tracked. They know what you're watching and for how long. We could have very accurate ratings, but instead they stick to using Nielson, who still uses a small selection of families to try and guess how many people are watching a show. Why use a guesstimate instead of legit numbers? The only reasoning I can think of is that the cable/streaming companies are worried that the numbers would be drastically different and change ad revenue rates. They don't want to change something that could hurt their ad money.

I miss SOA. Mayans does give us a little fix though. The rest of the scripted shows I enjoy I know you guys wouldn't like. Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Nancy Drew, and I do watch the Walking Dead. Not because I enjoy it. I feel like it's a lot like my relationship with wrestling. I've watched TWD since day one so I need to know how it ends. I said years ago that if they killed off Rick, Carl, or Michonne that I would be done with the show. Yet... I'm still watching. TV is down overall and yes they do overpay. They want live content and currently live content isnking on cable, as much on cable doesn't make much noise. Eric's right yellowstone is doing great on cable but he doesn't mention, they get 3 million viewers. That's what consider great on cable now, 9 years ago a hit show on cable was 8, 9 10 million. Streaming is where anything making noise, popular etc is right now

I worked in TV as did they, the reason Netflix/streaming typically has been canceling shows is because of budget. It's cheaper to start a new show, at a new salary low point than to raise everyones salary/budget. The Neilson data absolutely proves what your saying wrong, as most the streaming shows are doing the exact numbers cable once did. (23, 25, 17, 30 million etc) Jupiter's legacy wasn't canceled because no one watched it, but budget. Streaming end game, is will you stay subbed for the new content I have rolling out all the time/ watch time. They aren't concerned with actual viewership nearly as much nor does it guarantee a renewal. I hope this helps and if you don't feel I've done a good job explaining it, please refer to off the script podcast by a writer friend of mine who still works in LA at wb or grace Randolph or John campea on KZbin, typically have their info correct.
