My genuine opinion is that he didn't know what it meant, but his reaction made it look like it could be either way on if he knew or not. Hogan wasn't "worked" as he called it out immediately. I love the generational wrestlers and I always see good opportunities to sort of re-instill the old school amongst the new school in order to keep that history/tradition alive. I only really kept following wrestling within the last few years because of those second or third generation wrestlers because they are linked to when it actually mattered and they have the opportunity and sense to observe, listen and apply that generational knowledge. This is why I got into AEW during the pandemic - Arn Anderson, Tully, Sting, etc = over a hundred years of combined veteran knowledge that TK essentially shits all over by not utilizing their knowledge. You see glimpses of this in the Dom/Rhea thing. Still a lot of hope in the wrestling world if things are just kept simplified.
