Hi Dylan I launched my Privateer 20 Trailer sailor out of Christchurch last month (February) and had 4 days on the Solent, which was brilliant. I am very new to sailing to the point that it was the first time my boat and I had been in the sea. We had done Norfolk Broads for 3 days end of last year as a shake down sail. I bought the boat off E-bay June last year and slowly done her up as she didn’t even have window in when I got her. I have found all your Videos on here and elsewhere on the internet inspirational. It was this video first time around that made me want to sail the Solent. So thank you for that. And yes I am planning on becoming a patron. I have put some videos on KZbin but nowhere near as good as yours. But please check them out if you wise. Any advice welcome. Thanks for the inspiration. John

Hi Dylan, I don't know if you've sorted it yet, but a low battery may be the reason for your depth indicator not working. Tiller pilots require a lot of D.C. juice to operate. I'm new to your collection of films, but loving every minute of them, good luck and fair winds, Jon.

junglejonty turned out it was a duff display - Raymarine replaced it without question - very good people

This was an especially good video. I'm glad that you were holding on tightly when the boat left that area of disturbed, turbulent water. I was afraid that the "surge" of acceleration, from 1.9 to 2.2 knots, might throw you off the rear - I mean stern - of the boat!

No, no, no, it doesn't work that way Dylan! You should start by thanking everyone for all the donations you are getting! Doesn't have to be true jet:-) Create a feel good effect. People want to join a winner! Not some cynical old git insulting them for 45 seconds. Look at the other channels using paytron... The were thanking people when the counter was at 8 euro's per video. Just look at Delos... with one video per week they are making more that you did with Google.

Can you not turn on your adsense so that Google can compensate you? Perhaps it's not turned on correctly and that's why you've gotten nothing from Google up to this point.
