When we took our trailer to Jasper, we used a lot of the advice in this video to plan, particularly the Athabasca Glacier walk and the food tour. Every now and then, I come back to watch your video because you are better at chronicling than we are. It's great to see Jasper again. I don't normally feel tempted to move to places that we visit but Jasper is the exception. I'd live there in a heartbeat, if we could.

Start in Jasper, go to Lake Louise, Banff, Crowsnest Pass, and Waterton National Park. Waterton connects to Glacier National Park. Not as crowded as the other 2. Crowsnest Pass has the Frank Slide. Highway built between boulders as a slide of Turtle Mountain occurred in 1903.

I am so glad you made it to Jasper! I saw a Banff video you did and am glad you did Jasper too because that is my old stomping ground. Including those practice cliffs by the Athabasca River and the Astoria hotel....ahhh, the memories! We used to swim the river on May long weekend too as part of the Jasper Aquathon. For real beauty, hike the Bald Hills or up on the Skyline trail or into the Watchtower basin. Winter is great too, particularly a trip inside Maligne Canyon...unforgettable.

Athabasca Glacier has shrunk so much just in my lifetime. I will be 67 this year and first toured it when I was around 12. Back when they used the old Bombardiers to go onto the ice. The pictures I have show how much it has changed. Hope they still have the year markers to show where the toe of the glacier was in a particular year.

Another stellar production. On a side note, and I am certain not needed, but Power Strokes came with an engine block heater standard at one time. I'm not sure if that is still the case. BTW, LJMJ ran into some snow showers above near the AC, but you would need sustained cold before that block heater is needed. Just do what other Power Stroke Owners do. You can't go wrong.

Hi! Excited for you to explore Alaska! Hey, you mentioned at the end of this video if we had any questions or ideas of things we like to know as you continue on your adventure... How about temperatures in the areas you visit? How cold is it at night this time of year, if it is a really wet area, is it dry and sunny, etc. It's been looking nice so far but hard to tell for sure so a weather report would add some more info! (maybe what gear you need for each day.. Rain coat, wind jacket, etc.) I will be watching! Enjoy!

We learned how to rappel in the military and they taught us how to recover from a fall first, then we got to go down the cliff. We got to control our rate of decent and jump ten to twenty feet at a time, also they taught us how to do the Australian rappel which is going down face first which was just like walking down the cliff. Never had so much fun and so scarred at the same time. You do so much on your travel and have a lot of fun while going place. Enjoy your trip.

What an amazing place Jasper is! So beautiful! That Ice Cave was such an amazing opportunity. Our list of places to visit gets longer and longer by the minute! Seriously can't wait to visit this area of Canada.
