My first impression is that you all spend an enormous amount of time editing your videos so they will look high quality and they sparkle. But, in my honest opinion, you can once in a while save yourself some time and throw in one of these just for the sheer enjoyment of watching a family go through the ropes of daily life. Your wonderful editing jobs are great, but sometimes they leave out the heartbeat of the family while encountering various things through the day. This was spectacular! Thank you! God bless you all !!!

Hey guys, I am so excited that you are all together and having such a good time. I loved this video. It was a lot of fun to watch, but it was too short. I wasn’t ready for it to be over. And the best thing was all of the great info about the whole facility. I have never really wanted to go to Disney World until now. The way you guys did it looked like so much fun. FYI, BEST time without a doubt to hit up Disney is the beginning of December. Crowds a re lowest part of the year, weather is simply perfect, and the parks being decorated for the holidays and music played are simply AMAZING. it's one of my favorite reasons for wintering in Florida (Clermont). But this year I will be in the southwest and will for sure miss it. Enjoying the documentary style of this video too. Nice to see a family spending time together and generally getting a long. Kudos to you two for doing it right!

When we showed them your video on the Activity List, they wanted to know where their shirts were. So, so glad you opened up the ordering window again. Just ordered 5 shirts for each grandchild. Hope to send you pictures as we check off our list of activities this Summer!! Really enjoying your channel and your fun look at RV Life! We just traded our previous 5th Wheel in for a Grand Design Reflection 337RLS and will be hitting the road in August when my husband retires. So anxious to see more of the country. Living 1.5 hrs north we camp at Ft. Wilderness at least once a year. We love it!! We stay in the full hookup sites which have a little more space between the campsites. Not sure if you went, but there are also movies each night, fire pit to toast marshmallows and Chip and Dale are there. There are also buses to take you all over the campground so you don’t have to walk.

Hello! My name is Kim and we were just at Disney the end of March and beginning of April and also stayed at FW. We found using the Disney transportation so much easier than driving. The first day we were scheduled to go to MK and had a two hour rain delay. We planned the take the ferry over, but of course it doesn't run if there is rain. We got tired of waiting and drove. We got there and as you said didn't have to pay for parking, but it was a journey getting to the front gate. First you park, then you walk to the trolley thing that takes you to the tram and then you walk some more. We found it much easier to take the Disney transportation because you are essentially dropped off right as the gate. We didn't time it, but it seemed much easier and faster. You just have to get to the bus stop earlier to get where you need to go. Love all your videos, I have become addicted!

Great video! Disney World is so much fun! As an avid Disney World fan, just wanted to clarify a few things from the video...when Trish was showing the map, she kept saying how the boats take you to Disney World. That is not correct because she is already IN Disney World. All the many resorts and four parks are Disney World. What she meant was that the boats from Fort Wilderness take you across the bay to Magic Kingdom or Contemporary Resort and nearby Fort Wilderness Lodge. If you want to go to Epcot from Fort Wilderness campgrounds, you would take the boat to Magic Kingdom, and right next to where you get off the boat is the monorail. From there, the monorail can get you to Epcot, and the following resorts on the monorail loop: Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. If from the campgrounds you want to go to the other two parks in Disney World (Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) You would need to use Disney’s bus transportation or drive there in your own vehicle. The other option is if you go to Epcot, you can get to Hollywood Studios by boat (as long as there is no lightning in the area) through a channel between the two, and this would be a good option if you are park hopping, but not sure if it is more time efficient as a means to get to Hollywood Studios from the campgrounds, and taking the bus directly there could be less time. Set to open this Fall will also be a new gondola service between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, as well.
@thechaplain99065 жыл бұрын
I absolutely loved your expressions with the “Free Disney”. We stayed at the Grand Floridian for eight days, and dropped $8K at Disney. It was worth it all being treated so well there!!! Our kids didn’t even want to leave the grounds of the Grand Floridian... Years ago I saw a picture of Mickey Mouse in a magazine, sucking on a straw that was sucking the money out of a guy’s wallet which seems to match your expressions...HA 😂😂😂 Great Video as Always!!!

Pro tip: You can rent "cabins" at fort wilderness that are like 5 star mobile homes. We always pre-order groceries and have them delivered to our cabin (fully stocked kitchen) for the day we arrive! We drove our RV from PA to Disney and stayed at Fort Wilderness two years ago. While I know it is expensive to go to Disney - there is nothing like it! So much fun! Being from the Northeast I was actully thinking the campground would cost more than it did...but those tickets! Having said that the longer you stay, the less they cost for additional days. As KYD indicated - Don't get caught into the 'I am at Disney' mode like I did and feel you have to constantly be at the parks. Fort Wilderness is great in an on it's own. Make time to hang there and relax for a while.

FYI-that group of loops that is closest to the bus station at the entrance is all cabins. And the higher tier sites get you closer to the boat transportation. We’ve only stayed in standard sites and they are large, clean, and just as much space as the more expensive ones. We also drive to any parks because it is the most efficient time-wise.

The Fort looks amazing but I am sure it comes at a cost too, but still fun and like you said you are paying for community/Disney runs, etc...I would love staying at a place like that. I loved seeing the Castle again, went some years ago and I could only do night time and even that was to much for me with my heath. Still, it brought back fun memories seeing the Castle and fireworks. Glad Tori is there with you Trish so you can have fun. I know what you mean about the guys, I raised 6 of them and rarely got to do what I wanted to do. lol Instead I did the guy stuff with them. I needed one girl! lol Can't wait until next weeks video. since you have shared so much with my family as we begin our RV adventure we wanted to give you a Disney tip. Save flight of passage and get in line just before park closure. The last of the fast pass riders have already gone through and both lanes are open. The park is also starting to clear out. When the ride is over you get a rare view of animal kingdom when it is nearly empty. We have several times been the last people to leave the park.
